If you have a Talon you may want to consider a Condor spring and hammer. Or at least the hammer…
Does the Condor have a larger valve orifice? 😆
Condor and fully tuned by Tony 😆
Woah woah woah woah woah woah WOAH.
You are telling us you had a condor that had been completely tuned by Tony, and you bought a blodnob valve to replace the one tony had tuned???????
pray tell what was the actual problem and what exactly was the solution?
don’t leave this hanging. for the good of the group and all…..
honestly, what i did was when i pumped it up it wouldnt go pass 1k psi…so i took a look and air was still comming out…so, i hooked it up to the gun and started firing until air wasnt comming out or not as much. Then I gave it another try pumping and it filled like nothing was wrong.
Well done.
So likely a piece of swarf or something that cleared when fired and/or the valve head took a better set improving the seal enough to get you shooting.
Thank you for the answer.

Sometimes it may seem that way, but just keep at it.

The guy that received the help is the one honour bound to reply don’t you know?!!! 🙂
Peter????????
This is what he was going to try.
With the valve installed and tophat on and no air in the tank they stressed the no air in the tank which doesn’t seem to be a problem for you right now.
Take a piece of cloth and put it over the tophat and a plastic or hard rubber mallet and pop the tophat one time not super hard but give it a good pop and they said the valve should seat.
Then try filling it and if this is wrong somebody will correct it but this is what airforce said would fix the problem hope it helps and I know nothing about these valves so that’s why I called airforce.
first of all, i think they are pertaining to the airforce stock valve, not the blodnob valve…but if they are pretty much the same I will try this out.
thanks
I bet he was only pumping to about a thou or so,was letting the bleed go and it all came rushing out again. This time he pumped it up proper.. 😉

hi guys,
Is the rifle a Condor or a Talon?
If you have a Talon you may want to consider a Condor spring and hammer. Or at least the hammer…

so, i made a shot string…

i turned the top hat counter clock wise about 4 times

i dont know why some shots jumps to 400 then to 7-800…
i tried moving the top hat to all different spots but all still gave me the same results…
then i was able to get one consistent group after the third fill… the shot string was from 790-800…
now the question is, is this its limit? 800 fps only?
It is at it’s limit in your hands at this point. Put the gun down, step away, and peruse the past articles pertaining to this valve.
Did you install the spring that was supplied with the valve?
Are you using a stock talon hammer?
How long is your barrel?
Like any new mechanical device, it might require a breakin period for the valve to seat correctly, and for the moving parts and seals to wear in to get optimal performance. I would attribute the deviation to the above, or your current spring-hammer combo are not sufficient to open the valve correctly, which would be my guess. My valve will push .25 kodiaks near 1000FPS, so no, your results are not the valves limits.
I’m starting to detect a pattern here…
ok i was able to put in air finally after messing with it like u guys told me to…
