Yes, Wok is right I reckon. It needs to be dry fired a couple times to get the seal to seat properly, then it will be fine. Thats the only place it CAN leak from!!
If it doesn’t leak too fast, get some air in it, whip it off and onto the rifle and dry fire a few. This will sort it out. (unless something is busted)

i tink walkingking is on the right track has to be the delron seal. not wanting to seat. ???????????

Can you get to a scuba tank and get it filled?.

Could be the you might have to seat the delrin valve to the seat. Check the delrin and make sure there is no burr and check the seat as well.

If the tanks if full at 3000psi give the valve stem a little whack with a plastic mallet and see if it will seat the valve.

unfortunately no one I know has a scuba tank…its just that i was expecting it to be ready for me to put air in it and shoot…that’s why i had the tank sent to him to have the valve installed…anyways he wrote ” If you look in the top hat you will see a small set screw, loosen it and the turn the top hat a quarter on an inch counter clock wise and then you should be able to put air in it.”
(don’t unscrew it past the o ring!)

I did this…but air’s still leaking…hopefully he sends me instructions on how to fix this prob….

anywase thanks 4 all the advice

To tell you the truth with all the problems that have been occuring with people selling stuff and then taking off and not responding Tony and I have thought about how to get some control over this stuff.

People come on here and sell their wares and services and good ole Tony pays the bills and they are getting a free ride and often are competing directly against Tony and getting a free ride on his dime and they are only really here to make a few quick bucks.

Something is going to have to change around here.

Mandatory Real name, address ,and two phone#s with all for sale post would bring some accountability.

I’m thinking after he bought a blodnob he doesn’t want to go buy a condor valve….

comes a time to cut your losses…..

there is little excuse for a precision machined high dollar upgrade. This is not a mass produced Airforce valve. Especially if assembled by the maker it should be leak free.

Peter,
Good luck getting it fixed up.
post numbers if and when you get it sshooting.

Over at crossfireforum.org (yeah, it’s a forum for my car, want to fight about it?) it’s the same way. People who sell have to pay a fee to advertise their business. Here is a link to that site showing how they do it:

http://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/vendor-parts-accessories/announcement-crossfireforum-org-member-sponsorship.html

I’m thinking something like that here would help fix the problem. Another possibility is to “grandfather” some of the sellers in that already have a reputation as being awesomeness (tony, gtbj, blodnob, etc.) so they wouldn’t have to pay the fee, but possible “up and comers” would.

Only problem with this is that the new sellers would have to put a bit of money in to get started, which could get some people out. I believe it was gtbj (maybe) that said if TAG charged a fee for becoming a seller he wouldn’t bother.

Maybe a new thread and a poll, let people debate and decide as a group if it’s a good idea? Or do you mods want to go all “obama” on us and just decide without the people. 😈 πŸ˜†

Edit: forgot to say, we love you tony and wok for fixing problems caused by idiots!!!

I go to an R/C site-(Hpibajaforum.com)
they have a “Contributor” listing- Pay a certain dollar amount for what ever status you’d like to be-help to keep the forum running.
I pay $20.00 a year to sell my R/C stuff- they also have listings for Manufacturers, 2nd tier supporters and basic contributors- True much can’t be done “After the fact” but most “scammers” don’t want to invest in it and the bad apples get known real quick. I love this site would hate to see it fall to the wayside because of “dirty dealers”
Good luck.

I can understand the fustration, you bought a drop in item (as it came preassembled), with only YOUR adjustments/tuning to be done. But unfortunately it does’nt work from the get go, and no response from the seller after the fact. Hope you get it sorted quick.

no response? its more like being ignored…tell you the truth i wished there was a 30 day money back guaranteed πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Check your assembly of the valve. πŸ™‚
