Can the Taipan challenge the FX Impact at Extreme BR?

last year’s champion posted a video of his tight 10 shot groups with his Impact at 100y as part of his preparation in defending his title.

From the looks over on AGN finding good Impacts seems to be a bit of a challenge. 😛

Oh I agree 100% stock for stock gun off the assembly line,

Ted is an expert shot, No drought about it,
If I could get Ted to drank a 5th of whiskey , I am 100 % sure I could out shoot him, Well he would have to kill it in 10 minutes , Then It would be fair,,
You put a red Ryder BB gun in his hands and most of us will be eating crow,
I would love to see him shoot a Veteran 22 or 25 Long or short makes no difference to me.
Its a money thing to him and AOA pulls the money stings, He has a family to feed and I under stand 100 %
Its the same on AGN, and me talking about the Mutants and Veterans , They can not make any money off there 2000 dollar guns if the word gets out of the accuracy of the Mutant and veteran guns, Its taking money away from AGN and AOA and everyone that is over there,
As some one told me, SUCK IT UP its just business of money making.

He is a very good shot. His being a surfer also helps him become a good wind reader. .. and a fine teacher too. I learned from his videos as well.
Still, based on what I have read so far here, there, and everywhere…the Taipan Veteran …in the hands of the skill level as Ted.. could definitely challenge the Impact.
Teds a good shot and winder but his ebr guns are hand picked or tuned.
Ted said his Impact was not handpicked…and he tuned it himself.

I find it very difficult to believe that Ted has a gun that was just grabbed off of the shelf at AOA and the everything like the smooth twist barrel was perfect. :winkn:

Do you mean a hand picked and tuned Mutant by the factory with a pick barrel to get apples to apples? 😉
Taipan and others, most certainly, depends on the Rifleman!! My take on the event, FX showcase. AOA’s marketing at its best and economically a windfall.

At the EBR over 50 + % of the rifles used are FX rifles you will not see that outside of the US. The odds are for them and when they win they post the heck out of it. When they “FX / AOA” don’t take 1st they just don’t talk about it falls of the radar. Last year 2nd and 3rd was a RAW and USFT.
