I cancelled for a good reason ok!!!

As of late yesterday when most of the customers on the big order had been contacted there was only one cancellation. 😉

I got a phone call from Steve today as well regarding my order. He made a very reasonable offer to counter the AOA price drop. I actually declined his offer and told him that just two days ago I was very pleased with my order and the price that I agreed to when I placed my order. I didn’t see any reason that I should expect a big discount that is going to hurt Steve’s business simply because he is getting squeezed by a bigger competitor. He insisted however. I will refrain from posting Steve’s offer until he decides to do so. I got the impression from talking to him that he is making a lot of phone calls today. I am excited that my Cricket is on its way to Ernest and will be here in time to terrorize the local squirrel population this spring and summer. I am equally pleased that I purchased from a real stand up company like Wild West.

Good on you man! I most likely would not have done the same….I know my limitations and I would have taken the savings. I wanted to refrain from posting but I can’t help myself. When I ordered my Cricket last year I talked to Steve lets say on a Monday about a skeleton stock .22. I advised him I wouldn’t be able to buy until that coming Friday. Over the next few days I found a guy selling his remaining new Crickets on the Yellow for around $1550…I talked to Steve about this and he said he couldn’t match that price but he did come down from his prices and I was satisfied. I like Steve and he is a nice guy…I hope he’s able to get his Crickets for a lower price so he’s able to match the AoA prices and stay in business. But that $300 savings is hard to pass up…that’s a decent scope or a healthy supply of pellets.

I still believe Cricket prices are going even lower. If you are on a budget I would wait until summer.

Recently I saw Lou ferrigno (the Hulk) on the Yellow shooting a pcp and now we have Theee Kenny G white boy with long Jerry curls on the sax!. You took up photography lately? Any ways looking fwd to seeing your gun

I got a good deal !! and am very happy. He made it sound like it was going to be his counter to the AOA deal. Can’t say about others and for the life of me cannot figure out why he has not published it. Guns start shipping tomorrow and Sat. !!!

Ride what are you talking about.

I bought two guns from them and my landed cost was no more or maybe less than AOA, and AOA don’t even sell the Compact 177 I got and he still made the deal right…. I don’t want to discuss actual pricing until Steve decides to post his counter offer. I wish he would.

+1. :biggrinn: Sure didn’t expect a bonus when I ordered Baby Cricket.

Yes on throwing a message to the customers in the WWAG home page so they aren’t in the dark. They are working a very large order and are actually testing each gun.

Unlike AOA….. Who seems to have a random string on the computer they print off saying it was your gun….

The one I got with my bobcat wasn’t even close to what I got 20 mins after I pulled it out of the box. I bet they don’t even handle the guns … Toss the paperwork in the box remove the magazine…. :suprisedn: seal it up and out the door it goes

A little info here….

“Make sure the vendor clearly states it’s a….on the shipping documents…to avoid confusion…”

So you’d have to tell whomever you bought it from that you would be importing it into the USA (in order to draft up the shipping documents) and they would therefore not be able to sell it to you or they would risk losing their association with FX in Europe… 😉

It might be possible without purchasing documentation but not worth the risk imho.

Back to the topic at hand…..

Ride,
is steve offering any sort of deal or is it just to those that had pending orders before all this went down?
