EDgun Leshiy Scope Choices (pics)
I decided to start a new thread where users could post photos of their scope choices on the Leshiy. The gun is so compact it really begs to have a scope that is in line with ED’s concept of a forest walking gun.

Got a new scope for the Leshiy. It fits great and has a very useful reticle SWFA 1-4X24 SFP. Very good quality. I picked it up as a demo B from the sample list at SWFA
Just FYI, I contacted Igor at Strelok and he has added some March scope reticles to the program.

Yes the illumination is day-time bright. Originally I wanted the non-illuminated version, but could not find a place that had one in stock (and I did not really want to wait 3 months for one). I have been playing with it outside today and it’s really good on the lower magnifications, makes the reticle much more visible on various backgrounds. On 1x it’s almost like a red dot sight and I have no problem to get a good picture with both eyes open. Looking back now I’m glad I went with the illuminated version. :smilen:

The Era-Tac rings I ordered 3 weeks ago seems to be lost in the mail, so now I’m waiting for a refund / new package. Can’t wait to try this one out!
Is your 1-8x illumination daylight bright? The guy who wrote that review and took that pic mentioned that March illumination it not worth the upcharge and I tend to agree. Usually illumination on March scopes is a 25% premium. Having own another model with illumination, it looks cool with the push button but unless you’re hunting with it pre-dawn or early evening or perhaps on an overcast day with a dark backdrop, I can’t say it’s that useful to justify the added price tag. On my 1-8x non-illum, I have the FMC-2 reticle with dual donuts. It’s a cool little scope. Downside is a the price tag :suprisedn:
Awesome. I just bought myself a Leshiy right now (used) it will be here on Monday or Tuesday. It is the version that doesn’t have the caliber written on it.

Brown Santa just dropped by with my new Leshiy scope. Less than 2 days from England to Norway, impressive! Still waiting for the rings though, but thought I could share some quick pictures. :4:

No paralax adjustment… still no match for the classic March 1-8 or 1-10, but cool indeed! And at ‘just’ $2700 it’s waaaaaaaay out of my price range 😉
