My friend asked me to bring him the 2nd gen… in fact 2nd gen has more clear glass. ..and the tube is 34mm …came with the rings …very nice scope…
Same here. The worst scope i have is a Weaver T36.
I need to admit that i have one Chinese scope too – a Gamo 4-16x. It sits on my Vulcan and it has surprisingly clear optics at 16x ( less milky than T36 fixed ) and it tracks well.
Other scopes i own are Delta’s ( Japanese ) , Hensoldt, S&B and IOR.

The one Hemn talks about actually had pretty nice glass. It was a 10x “straight” scope and scopes with fixed mag always have better optical quality than those with adj mag.
If Ed scopes have Schott glass that’s good but don’t expect them to be even near the same optics than ie Zeiss or IOR. More like lenses that didn’t make the grade. That said – the Schott worst easily beats the best Chinese lenses .

i have own Edgun Scope 1st Generation, since Aug-2015, and since i used this scope i decided to sell my Hawke 8.5-25X42 SF, and ordered 5 more Edgun scopes for myself and friends, today i received my Edgun scopes, and looks like i cannot keep even two of them for myself, i only brought 5 scopes for me and on of my friend,,,, now all asking for it,,,
they are very good size and very good weight ,,, very compact and has no tall turrets (which is my favorite) …they will come with its mount ,,,good mounts,,, i like it soooo much and have three of them,,, and i recommend it for all,,, the Clicks are MIL/MIL ,,, very clear glass,,,
even i sent my Edgun scope to Ville before i get it,,,because i couldn’t get mine directly,,,Ville helped me (thanks a lot Ville ),,,i told him to check the scope and all,,,, he replied to me that the scope is good and has a good/ clear glass,,,

I owned 2 hawke scopes, never again. Made in Japan is the only scopes I will ever buy.

My scope is not the best at 24x but for $270 it beats the shit out of the $450 SW
At 20x my scope is VERY nice and clear for a 1″ tubed scope at $270, high bang for your buck value.

No, EDgun is a better scope because it has EDgun logo!
Just stick to the SWFA AGW, trust me for the money you can’t buy better and the SWFA will always maintain it’s value. The mil-quad reticle is one of the best designs for an airgun. Plus the SWFA is mil-spec.
I know if I could get a Edgun scope I buy it quick
