Even in prone I can’t hold it that steady, I have to wait inbetween breaths and heartbeat when I pull the trigger, or just let my breath out slow and steady as I pull.
I don’t use a rest. 🙂 I use a bipod with my hand/fist under the butt of the stock. Well, I used my fist for this “plum” video. For the “golf tee” video, I used my rotten old Caldwell sand bag. It leaves a trail of sand where ever it goes. 😆
As for breathing, I don’t even think about it – years of freediving/spearfishing (breath-hold diving) has pretty made that process as relaxing and automatic as you can imagine.

It does look so cool….. when play back slow motion from high speed cam. IF I love to record videos, I would buy 1 too, but I am not into cam much, not even taking pictures 😆 😆 😆

I’m looking at those Casios. As soon as they dip below $200 (new or used), I’ll bite. What could be more fun than watching starlings getting creamed at 240 frames per second? (“nothing” is the correct response).

Nice video as always.
I use the bipod with a pad – or, sometimes my fist – I change the elevation by clenching or relaxing it. In the “golf tee” video, I was using the pad. In a few of the 100 yard videos, I was using my fist.

I watched some of your shooting videos again. Your shots are very steady! Were you using the bipod and a pad at the rear of the rifle or a rifle rest?
New Video: Scopecam shooting golf tees at 50 yards. This is way more fun than paper punching. I also shot some 1.5″ plumbs (“squirrel heads”) at 100 yards. That one will be up later tonight.
