Yes, there is a problem with it. Many cops here are out of any borders at all and we hate them for that. But, on the other hand, the normal cops are absolutely incapable to do anything with the crimes. Even with those two thieves, they caught them and when I was talking with the cops our of the car (the thieves were in the police car) they told that they would have to release them since they have no evidence that were them, though they have no doubt in it, since the caught guys were not new to them, they have a long reports of the crimes and were to prison few times. And those thieves were sitting in the car laughing at the cops, knowing they would be released soon. We have a joke which is a true, a man comes to the police and says that someone wants to kill him, the police officer answered, you should come back here when you were killed, only in this case we can make something…

The only thing I know — the thief should be punished, all those “liberal” laws are produced by thieves themselves, at least in Russia, so I consider quite reasonable to punish them ourselves 🙂 When I caught one few years ago I just gave an order to my people to punish him, but not to maim or kill, they were in a good mood and very inventive, binded him behind the big car, like I use, and make a good two circles ride around our premises (100 meters long and 20 meters width) with him on the rope behind the car. Lucky him it was winter time 🙂

Few days ago I got a call from a friend of mine about couple of thieves who tried to break into our summer house and our neighbors houses as well. To my surprise the police worked perfectly this time and they were caught immediately. So I have to look at the house if they could manage to break in, since we do not use it in the winter time no roads or paths were cleaned from the snow. It was quite a challenge to reach a house, too much snow this year 🙂

I asked the police to give thieves to me to “talk” with them but they refused 🙁 In fact I didn’t insist since they didn’t break in my house. If they’ve done it I would be more persistent 🙂 The best cure for the thieves is baysball bat 🙂

We just got about a foot of snow so far and they are saying 16-20″ with 35 mph winds! All of the highways and interstates are closed. The snow plows quit at 6 PM today and aren’t going to start again till at least noon Wed. I couldn’t go shooting if I wanted to.

So is Jesus….let’s hope the R3 gets here first!

I’m not sure you can compare “Excellent” to “Excellent”, and arrive at a meaningful decision on Matador vs. Royal 400. When it boils down to a puff of wind, or a quiver of a finger, on one shot vs. another, to skew the results towards one rifle or another, then I think comparison is useless. At that point it boils down to preference of type of rifle, because they can both easily outshoot most shooters.

I am VERY interested in the R3 Edgun, and its associated improvements compared to the Royal 500 series, and any other PCP with the balls to step up to the line and give its best.

When Ed implied there were “improvements” and “changes” involved in the R3, that’s a statement that catches my ear and gets my brain gears spinning. It’s possible that the R3 may not be the “Son of Matador” in .25 caliber, with beefed up valve. Ed may have made some serious movement in his ever so interesting mind toward a new direction.

Ed doesn’t post much, but he certainly appears to read everything we say. Look at all we have suggested, asked for, demanded, and indicated we require, to be happy.

The “R3” may be a rifle worth consideration, before Ted goes to the considerable trouble to test the older Matador style and technology, against another companies older, multi-shot, but similar, PCP, equipped with a non-rifled barrel. Ted has already provided results in accuracy, and they are not definitive as tested, at least not in my opinion. That would require several shooting sessions, under differing conditions, and ranges. My Gwad…20 degrees F? The man’s made of steel! Give man and gun a fighting chance to do their best under more humane conditions.

I believe the Royal 500 and the R3 need to go head to head.

Let’s give Ed a chance to provide a sample of HIS latest magic, against Royal’s latest model 500.

Anyway, if the R3 is a step forward, you just know he’ll provide it in .22 caliber, if we scream and kick our feet enough.
