Finally getting a .257 build started!
I contacted R&L and Mike at citrusairguns about barrels hammers and springs for the 257. Both can get me close to what I want. Has anyone dealt with either before? Is there anyone else that will machine the parts I need?

Yeah but it wouldnt be any kinda comeup for anyone because I already have been billed also… but I may have to double check because I might have paid less. I bought the frame , trigger components and grip ala carte… Wow! You talked to her seven seperate times! Damn!!! I contacted her about a month ago and she replied very quickly but was unsure of the trigger parts andvwould get back at me. I waited about two weeks and emailed her again what the frame and trigger parts together would cost. She apologized and said she would get right on it and let me know. The next day she had quoted the price for frame and trigger group ONLY no grip, no hammer , no spring , no nothing just frame and trigger , if that was good for me I could call and place the order with my visa. I called she took my card info and said it would ship by the end of that week……. three weeks ago! Friday she was going to get right on it and find out what happened so that this sorta thing never happens again. Said I would get tracking number emailed today! Man ! Somebody is making her look bad ,,, or musta been one hella Texas party weekend! :rofl:
I talked to Rachael 7 times last week. Every time she was very nice and said she would get right on it and it somehow slipped threw the cracks again day after day. I was totally nice to her. Some one gets stoned on a regular!

She musta had quite the weekend and the long term results has inhibted her short term memory…
Funny thing is I think both of our orders were submitted around the same time and are very similiar…. Wonder what the chances would be that they somehow got confused and fulfillment questioned the order and halted it temporarily? Now it’s cleared up and yours is shipping??? What are the chances? Chances are I got a great imagination. If I dont get a confirm tomorrow I will call her again….. I wonder wazzup with them over there. Are they that messed up to screw two orders up and both of us getting the exact same lip service? Huh? Not good. Not looking good at all, no wonder why ya hear folk pissin and a moanin bout Airforce. I thought it was just plain bitchin just for bitchin sake but this could make me wonder, especially when they are talkin out the side of the neck and we both gettin a story told to us????? I dunno? I took a good look at your mold and handles, (Nice handles by the way!) Will try and get the molds machined Wednesday, and out this week. A Tornado hit may shop. Well, it looks like it any way. Time for a good spring cleaning tomorrow before I can do anything in there! 😳 😆

Rachael told me the same thing and has been telling me that for two weeks. I was very nice and called 3 times today. I finally have tracking confirmation that my order has went out. Its set everything back almost a month.
Yeah I emailed AF friday about where my frame order was and Rachel said it fell through the cracks. Assured me she would walk it tgrough and get to the bottom of what happened. Make sure it doesnt happen again. She said she would email confirmation and tracking number today. So far, havent received a word from AF? Hmmm? Glad I am not needing it to complete any immediate or pending project like you are. I got my shipment from RJ Porter on saturday. Man! He hooked me up righteous! He sent my regular order and threw in a decent sampler of numerous other .257 custom bullets that he believes are very promising. I have spitzers up to 100gr, hollow point spitzers, semi spitzers, flat nose hollowpoints and whatnots! My chrony will be here today this afternoon. They should be done with cleaning up the shooting range by tomorrow, after the big events that they had over the last two weekends . So I think I will be very busy conducting some testing, as long as I can manage to keep unemployed (L.O.L.) I kinda hurt myself trying to play catch-up burning up the midnite oil to make a critical deadline with my side job! Hard to do those all nighters like used to do when I was younger. I keep believing that I reallly am not that old but I sure am feeling like I am getting there today! Good grief what a dissarray my garage and whole house is in the aftermath! I can’t wait Knife. Air force finally shipped old style condor after 2 weeks waiting. Mold has been ordered. Valve has been ordered. I need new tank ,barrel guiding hammer like yours if I can get one machined, wokguard and super sear if it will work when funds get better.

Im still waiting Dougroundup. This Blows I already have a Dyotat hooked up 25 condor that usually smokes 90% of the 22RF at the range. I have plenty of farms here to shoot at animals now. So as soon as the guns finished Groundhogs will be ducking a lot. Most on here have been very cool with helping me out. For instance before I spent over a grand on a custom gun that shot like shit only to send it to Dyotat to have it completely reworked. He also knew the situation I was in I couldn’t walk no funds and he setup it up for free plus a BADASS shroud. VBD it means a lot a complete stranger would help someone out like that. Knifemaker has has been huge with advice and my mold which is going to kick ass. Roachcreek has given me great advice on the hunting part of everything and how I should shoot my gun pellet/bullet/psi wise. Thanks again Raymond
Man I know exactly how ya feel! Welcome to the .257 club. I was outside looking in and couldnt believe how welcoming everyone was to help get me onboard. So welcome aboard, enjoy and be careful, as this about the point that seperates us from the toys. When I first went to the gun rangethey referred to me as that guy with the airsoft. I doubt that they think that now. I easily am shooting more accurately than the wannabe 22rf assault autoloaders down there and probably equal or exceed ft/lbs of energy to the target too.
I too am posted up by the mailbox as I await more goodies to come. I got my rifle and was too busy to work on it . Now got the time but waiting for fodder, a chrony and my range to open up again.

My fault that’s badass the super sear will work then with the old trigger assembly and Dougs setup. Hopefully some parts will start arriving by the end of this week. Im like a child at Christmas!
I never said the super sear wouldn’t work w/Doug’s setup, I said it may not work w/the new AF trigger- but crisis averted, you’re getting the old style trigger components, so the super sear will work. No worries!

I believe you will be ok and is exactly what you want with the SuperSear and old style trigger group. The new style isnt compatible with the Super Sear. The old style with dougs hammer and spring is fully compatible from what I have understood and is the preference. Oh and I will plug Wok’s trigger guard too. It looks real cool and surely beefs everything up .

WELL, yes indeed folks I got my panties all twisted up and in a wad for nothing! I was a bit premature, because I woke up this morning and what do I have in my inbox? A invoice and tracking number from Airforce for my old styled frame!
I guess I must apologize to the lady for being so premature. Sorry, I just was a bit excited.
