Freedom 8 – air compressor
Do you guys use this product? I’ve heard it works alright, but does it last? Anything that is on for 8-12 hours straight has to have duty cycle concerns. I appreciate your feedback and alternatives for about the same price.

No,no,no – The “strap-on” and the bootie was included in the price. I paid around 500$ (incl. the freight) for the tank kit with QD fill kit and those tank accessories and the postage part was around 40$ delivered to the door. Paid thru PP – no additional charges.

Nice tank set up Ville….I like. Did they charge you $30-40 for that carry strap and $20-30 for that tank boot? Did you have to mail them a check…or did you pay an extra 4% to use a credit card? Just wondering. How about $80 shipping????
It´s 8L carbon tank (85 cu.ft for those with the weird,ancient Imperial system) and you get approx 20 fills for R3 long (388cc) 200bar and refill by 110 bar. Then it´s down at 200 bar in the tank = time for a refill.

Just got everything i needed from AOA….freedom 8, 75cf tank, nice looking carry bag, and fittings. $120 discount vs $50 with Joe B. They had the QD fill fitting for $25 vs $89 at Joe B’s. Shipping was $5 bucks cheaper too. And I paid with the security of a credit card FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE….and got miles. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

I bought a used CF 60 minute tank with 3 years left on it on ebay for $90. it had the regular scba valve on it. went and bought Joe’s valve to put on tank as i would have had to spend $100 on a fill adaptor any way which makes the whole thing bigger and bulky. I went and bought this Option #2A FQD x FQD Hose with Wrench-tight DIN300 x MQD.http://www.airtanksforsale.com/FQD-Hose-Guppy.jpg. I don’t want to post picture here as Joe get pretty mad when we do that. So in the end it was like 260-280 with shipping. That included the hose as well. It also included small tank pressure gage. All in all i think i came out pretty good but it was not cheap either but it looks like most people charge a premium for these type of fittings
I was already to buy this yesterday from Joe B, but I think I’m going to back out now. He wants me to mail him a check for around $1800. He says if I pay with a credit card it will be 3.9% up charge. THE ONLY REASON I WANT HIS TANK IS FOR THE DOUBLE VALVES….otherwise I would never do business with this guy. I think I’ll just buy it somewhere else now. Who has bought from this guy before? And please tell me why?

The booster works like a charm o bought it used on eBay. I really like how everything works. I have 2000psi nitrogen bottles that I can use till I’m down to about 850 psi. Then I use the remainder nitrogen to run my booster to completely empty it out. I really don’t know now many time I can fill it. I have 4 differant guys using my system to fill their tanks all I know is I used 3 tanks this summer and did some serious shooting. When tuning guns it takes alot of air 😀

Thanks Donny for the update. It’s totally fine. He needs to hear these complaints….that is how things get resolved. My view….is MY VIEW. If he wants good reviews he needs to make things better, at least to earn my business. $89 for a fitting and $98 for a bunch of Chinese stuff (that all look fine and work fine) is not competitive. He needs to see 4-5 more of these comments around a few different forums and he’ll quickly understand. I have learned TONS OF GREAT THINGS on this forum. The members here are so knowledgeable and helpful….I’m just offering my 2 cents because my experiences are worth as much as everyone else’s. There is NOTHING Joe B can do to hurt me on this forum….lol. But I can do a lot more damage then he can dream of by just stating the TRUTH. AND THE TRUTH HURTS.
