Q:

HOW OLD ARE WE???

Hey Guys 😀

I was just sittin here drinking a beer twidling with me belly button (as you do ), thinking about how much of a ‘fringe’ hobby this is. Then i started thinking about how young i was when i first started playing with air rifles. It was the early eighties, i was about 11 or so when i first started playing in the woods with them.

I’m 37 now. I’ve got an air rifle. i go to the woods and play with it.
In 20 years, you’ll find me somewhere, playing with me air rifle.

Roll Call.

Ages please. It can’t be just me whos getting older but still playing… 😕

Just went 4 decades last month… Yup, the big 4-Oh. One might comment that
I’ve been fiddling with my gun for >36 years. (Mom would most likely tell you
its 39 yrs or more… 😀 ).

I have pictures of my older brother and I out on the farm (Iowa) with a pump
daisy; it was the Summer of 1973. For that matter, I have another pic of me –
same summer – shooting my late great uncle’s .38 service revolver (police) at
bull frogs out behind his house. Before the days of litigation, I suppose.

I still have the rifle and it still fires. Go figure. That was before we outsourced
everything. I’ve also got my father’s RedRider BB Gun. Single spring load lever
action. Fabulous rifle and piece of Americana.

41 been shooting air and powder burners since I can remember. Bought a Talon SS and a Condor when they first came out … got back into buying pistols and “black guns” when I realized we were going to have the Dems back in control. Just dusted off the Talon SS within the last two months and started coming here again…good to be back!!!

I was 8 years old when i started shooting, and i’ve been obsest with guns ever since, im 21 now and shoot as often as posible.
I have a two year old boy and on his 1st birthday i bought
him a red ryder, which my parner loved! lol
and i just servised my old bsa cadet with a new spring, seals
and coat of oil. which will be his follow on rifle from the red ryder.
hopeing to get him shooting with me as soon as posible. 😉

this has been a fun topic, and lots of new members in the last month, so time to bring it to the top again.

bump

im 28 years young, been into air guns in my past life as a solder.

40. i picked up my first Daisy Winchester bb gun in 1975 and then moved to air pistols and Benjamen air rifles at 12.

I had too much fun hunting jack rabbit and squirrel as a kid. Then put them away for over 23 years.

When i picked up my first AirForce I fell in love with these “toys” all over again. Evertime I turn one of my bro’s on to my guns they end up buying one.

I am still surfing, living here in Oahu surfing the North Shore, still looking young and playing catch and release with the ladies of Hawaii…….probably won’t put these guns down for another 10 years.

21 since july

quote Saugus18:

OK, I’ll be 54 in Jan… 😯 Where does the time go.

Don’t really have much of a clue what “Growing up” means. I’m still a SOB of a r’n’r drummer, still Love riding my ’57 Pan Chopper with my scooter trash bro’s, love to party, (ok can’t quite do it like I used to) love my Airforce rifle, still got my hair, and don’t need no Viagra…

Thought I’d where “The Shirt” for this photo.
😛

Nice bike. You and the chick in the pict should start a band! Maybe call it Motorcyle Girl 😯 😛 😀

Nice bike bro. The teal flames would look good trailored in my teal truck. 😉
