Q:

HOW OLD ARE WE???

Hey Guys 😀

I was just sittin here drinking a beer twidling with me belly button (as you do ), thinking about how much of a ‘fringe’ hobby this is. Then i started thinking about how young i was when i first started playing with air rifles. It was the early eighties, i was about 11 or so when i first started playing in the woods with them.

I’m 37 now. I’ve got an air rifle. i go to the woods and play with it.
In 20 years, you’ll find me somewhere, playing with me air rifle.

Roll Call.

Ages please. It can’t be just me whos getting older but still playing… 😕

OK, I’ll be 54 in Jan… 😯 Where does the time go.

Don’t really have much of a clue what “Growing up” means. I’m still a SOB of a r’n’r drummer, still Love riding my ’57 Pan Chopper with my scooter trash bro’s, love to party, (ok can’t quite do it like I used to) love my Airforce rifle, still got my hair, and don’t need no Viagra…

Thought I’d where “The Shirt” for this photo.
😛

60 years old Dec 6th. I enjoy air gunning as much now as I did as a kid. You have a wonderful website, just full of excellent information.

Thanks

AZPete; Tell us about the knife in the pic. I’m interested in such a knife. AKULA

I’m 60 years old Dec 6th. Retired old phart who is again enjoying air powered weapons. The technology has changed air rifles quite abit from my first Daisy Model 25 which was made in 1936. She’s been rebuilt and still shoots strong.

My pride and joys are my recently aquired Talon SS and a Condor. I’m totally fasinated and amazed by these two rifles. The bring the concept of hand loading to air gunning, and that is just way cool.

Thanks

Turned 51 today.

Just getting back into airguns after about 40 years since my dad ate my ass out about leaving my Benjamin pump on top of the barn.

My new TalonSS came a couple of weeks ago and the Hill pump finally arrived yesterday. Pumped her up for the first time last night. I figure after pumping enough to shoot a sleeve or two of pellets I should be back in my prime in no time.

Machinist; Well done. I dismissed my first wife for cause (military speak for being a compete caustic, frigid bitch) for the same reason. The courts bought the reason…..but that was Hawaii. I hope you have the same luck! AKULA

Reminds me of my first wife..she once yelled at me..WHEN ARE YOU EVER GOING TO GROW UP?? I answered…NEVER!!!

Hey you old farts. Yes you! You remember The Age of Aquarious? Love, universal brotherhood, peace on earth..a new age?

For us old farts, you know it failed. The only thing you have to hope for is this:

Never grow up, never grow old. Peter Pan. Unfortunately, I only got it half right. I’m 54 and have absolutely no intention of growing up. I can’t control the other part. Then again, I wouldn’t trade my life with anyone. AKULA
