Holy crap.
Talk about the yang of barrel droop.
As others have mentioned you can’t get your scope zero’d in unless you have a scope with mega adjustment on tap.
F shims.
Got a pair of Burris Signature Zee rings and posi line inserts on order.
Might want to lessen that cant just a tad Ed,IMO.
Love the rifle just the same.

Thanks Demp. That is a green light for me to proceed my mod. Here is the final product,

Mines about a 19.1 mm wrench and I thinned it down to 6mm wide. Works great.
Only tightening about a 1/4 turn past hand tight.

Demp, does this work for the job? It is 0.05mm bigger by my caliper.

A pair of channel locks did the job just fine for me.

Mine is 19mm too. I had one thin enough.

“IF” someone wanted to shim their scope rings to fix this problem… would they shim the front or rear ring?

Just for another data point…

On my .25 R3 long I’m running a Bushnell 3-12 x 44 FFP G2DMR scope which has 21 mils of elevation travel (76 MOA)

I have it mounted in Signature Zee rings but I’m using the 0 (no offset) inserts. At a 50Y zero there is 17.5 mils (63 MOA) up elevation left available (3.5 mils up from bottomed out.) I find this perfect for longer-range shots as the cant maximizes the amount of elevation travel left in my scope. While the scope isn’t totally bottomed out for elevation at the 50Y zero 17.5 mils of remaining up elevation gets me out to 200Y just on the turret– plenty for me. If that isn’t enough there is still another 10 mils left of holdover on the reticle.

However, I can see scopes with less than 20 mils (72 MOA) total travel being difficult to achieve a 50Y zero with– especially less expensive scopes that often start to experience optical and/or tracking issues near the extremes of their elevation travel. In that case I would run Signature Zee rings and use the inserts to get the scope closer to their mechanical center for your desired zero range.

One thing you may want to check is run a straightedge across the scope rail of your EDgun. The front section is cantilevered out quite a ways and if you ever knock the scope on something or the gun was bashed around in shipping I could see that cantilevered portion being bent downwards. This would put even more cant in the rail and cause difficulties zeroing the scope.

Seems like I have an exaggerated case.
While I might be able to work around it with rings I wonder if I should considering the cost of the gun.
Might have to email Tony and see if i can get a different rail.
The gun does shoot spectacular with great accuracy, consistent velocity, and is stingy in the use of air.
Shot two 5 shot groups at 100 yards today laying in the mud with a bipod and needing more lift than a hand width at the rear stock to adjust in the rain and some wind.
In short it was not conducive to seeing what the gun could do.
Had to take off my clothes in the garage before the wife would let me in.
1 1/2″ 5 shot groups they were.
I was pleased considering the shooting conditions coupled with my haste. I think this gun will easily be sub MOA at 100 yards..

Roughly zeroed at about 25 yards I have 4 full rotations of down remaining and seven up before I top out.

My scope has 72, 1/8″ clicks per rotation.

72*4/8= 36 moa down remaining.

72*7/8= 63 moa up remaining.

So if I zero at 30 i’ll use up another 20 or so clicks of down to get the reticle on target.
