I know my rifle is accurate, but WTF!!!
Shot some 40 yard groups today, and shot this 5 shot group
Am I missing something here? On a plain fresh piece of cardboard, about A4 size, no other holes, so unless my rifle spontaneously was firing them way off then check this out 😯
5 SHOT GROUP.
The top hole is a little larger than the bottom, so thats where 4 pellets went, the last just under!!
Talk about pellet on pellet!! 😯 😯 😯

Ah ha! That might be the prob with the 12″ then. Too clean!!
Run 50 pellets through it and see if the groups tighten up. LW barrels like to run dirty, as do most air rifle barrels

the rifling look good .i cleaned the barrel and rodded it then cleaned it again just in case i missed somthing.
im gonna go to the gun shop tomorrow and let him look at the barrel..
two of my pitbull pups just sold so i might bring back a new gun tomorrow.

What close it over the tophat on the valve? Thats normal, its the oring going over, you want that bit to be nice and tight. And groove marks on the breech from it scraping on the frame? If so, the barrel bushings are badly aligned, could be the problem, difficult to say without seeing it.
when i slid the breech forwerd it dident seam to run smooth ?ther was like a little tiny push was needed to close it..dunno if this helps mate

dunno about the 122 the bloke said the 12″ was awfull so he swicted to a LW 18″ and it was bang on the money,,thing is its to big for down the golf corse.
people will think im the fuckin taliban bud.
but im gonna try to fit the 18″ again just to see if its me massin it up.
if its good and works then fine if not il work from ther.
what does the bore look like is there any bad spots in the rifling
To get that pellet out, put a wooden rod down it( just shy of bore size ideally) and hammer that sucker out. The wood wont harm the rifling if it comes into contact with it, but if you hold it straight it shouldn’t anyway. And the pellet is only lead so that wont harm it. Put the barrel end on something soft so you don;t fuck up the crown. As for the 12″ is it new, have you shot enough pellets through it to settle her down? tried the airarms( I can’t remember if you said) Airarms field should shoot beautiful out of that LW barrel. if they don’t they’ll be one of a very few that don’t!!

lads im at a loss with the 18″ barr i own. its lw so it should be good.
the last owner put it on ther and has had the gun runnin 28lbs with graet pellet placment..so it must be ok.
i took it of wheni come home and put the 12″ on all worked fine..
i tryed to put the 18″ on ,it went on fine but when fired the pellets stayed in the breech. third shot it fired the pellet,forth got jammed and dumped the air.
now the pellet is stuck in the 18″ barrel(how can i remove please.) could it be that the bushes were not lined up properly,? im gonna try to fit it agin..
problem is it turns a small handy pacage into a big gun that isent gonna fill the place it was bought for .i wanted a small take down for around the golf corse and places alike to clear vermin.i can just walk into the club with it in a small case .no fuss.
but i carnt live with the accurcy of it right now.
