I know my rifle is accurate, but WTF!!!
Shot some 40 yard groups today, and shot this 5 shot group
Am I missing something here? On a plain fresh piece of cardboard, about A4 size, no other holes, so unless my rifle spontaneously was firing them way off then check this out 😯
5 SHOT GROUP.
The top hole is a little larger than the bottom, so thats where 4 pellets went, the last just under!!
Talk about pellet on pellet!! 😯 😯 😯

really nice group Pabs…. I can not for the life of me shoot small groups at
40yds… I have no excuse to use when I screw it up…lol Now I understand

I have NEVER shot a 40 yrd group like that. I’m more impressed with that than I am with my sub(just) 100 yard(ok ok 97.5) group 😀 😀 😀
You can barely see that the 4 hole shot is much bigger than the 1 shot hole 😯

A bit of Wikipedia, here’s the conversion to US…
18.00 mm / 0.709 in = 5 pence
19.05 mm / 0.750 in = 1 cent
I also checked a quarter… the British 10p is closest for universal comparison across the pond.
24.50 mm / 0.965 in = Ten pence
24.26 mm / 0.955 in = Quarter
How much wind is involved here, judging from that 5p, windy. Try another tin of pellets. Maybe time to clean the barrel.

Don’t do quarters here. The bottom hole is slightly smaller than .22 (what Im shooting.
Can you use an American quarter for scale insead?

I doubted it big time, stood there for 5 mins scratching my head, then shot a couple more 5 groups just to make sure my rifle wasn’t doing something screwy before I posted. 😆
