Introduction A New Hobby
Just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone. I’m no one important. I use to be a lurker and a learner from the TAG Forum for the last 2 years. I’m an avid bow hunter and a powder burner hunter most of my life. I never cared to join any of the archery forum or the powder burner forum. I stumbled uponed TAG by accident and am addicted to reading the posts. From this point, I fell inlove with air guns, especially bullpup.
I have recently purchased the SPA P12. It has been a really controversial air gun lately.
Anyhow I humbly ask all of you members(masters of air guns) to be your student. I’m new at this exciting hobby so going to need all the help I could get.
Wingman, thank you for your indept review of the P12 and congrats on your newborn baby daughter. I have three but they are all grown up.

In fact between this Delta that i own and my Hawke … i am choosing Hawke,,,for following reasons ,,,
my Hawke 8.5-25X42 has 60 MOA, while my Delta 6-24X42 has only 38 MOA,,,
my Hawk has a illuminated reticle while Delta doesn’t have this feature,,, and Hawke has a SF and Delta doesn’t … and my Hawke has a 30mm tube while my Delta is 25mm tube ,,, and the Hawke turrets are better than this Delta,,,
but overall the Delta looks like more durable/ solid,,,especially the titanium tube is really a very good ,,,and the Delta has more shock proof ,,,this Delta has 1000g shock proof,,,but i don’t know what is the Hawke shock proof degree ???
but if i had that Delta which Ville has mentioned ,,, 3-24X56 ED ,,,i would definitely prefer this … especially the ED glass feature is really one of the best feature that Delta company has used in this scope,,the top companies like S&B & U.S optic has used this feature in their scopes ,,, see this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CX3hLSI59ko ,,,it is really really great vid about scopes ,,,

Hemn – a tough question – which scope do you like better for airguns between your two? 😛 I may pick up one better scope and it will probably be the Sightron 10-50×60 but I am investigating the Deltas as well. 😉

I am the man of pumping …….. (of course I mean air guns) for the last three years or even more than 3 years I am using pumps. .I have had benjamin pump it latest 1 year. .and bought hill pump and using it for almost two years. ..but I often disassemble it and clean it then lube all parts and o-rings with hill silicone grease….
It is really good pump and doesn’t need more effort like my benjamin pump …. go with it …but if u can get an air cylinder it will be great and easy to refill your pcp in seconds….
Oh…BTW..you called me teacher Hemn… if you are joking then it is ok…if you are serious then believe me that iam still learning. .. since iam involved myself with this hobby only three years. ….

A question for you all? I have learned the art of pumping sheeps taught to me by you all. I also noticed Old Goat’s avitar that he is also a sheep lover. Key word here is PUMPING.
HOW HARD IS IT TO PUMP AN AIRGUN WITH A HILL PUMP? I got one coming from Pyramid Air.
Dearest Uncle :hoot, I know you are an advocate of the Hill pump. Please educate your honorary nephew/student? I’m the same stature as our Ted of Maddison. Thank God I don’t anything like him though. He might of edged me out on the prettiness with his white shades and a match color truck.
From the looks of it I may have too pack my backpack with a dozen bricks because I weigh 150lb. I have got to do this without my wife seeing me. She might think my PTSD is coming back.

Those guys have a comp where they try to shoot down rc planes with mini guns and assorted belt feds. Heard its bad ass!!
I decided I need a Dillon M134 mini-gun for them nasty sparrows. The guy that makes Dillon reloader’s (Mike Dillon) also makes the light mini-guns for the military here. They are very cool (depending on ones perspective of course) 😆

Everyone’s ancestors are immigrants at one point or another. Yes Chinese language is very hard to learn, That is why I chose not to learn it. Chinese is from my grandfather side.
I thought you were calling these guys “Shih Tzu”, but was spelling it wrong. I often refer to them as a bunch of “Mutts”, which is very similar.
Most forum members refer to each other as “Shih T-head”, which is an English term of great respect for elderly and knowledgeable individuals! I’m from Arkansas, and don’t really speak English as my primary or secondary language. Like Texas automobile drivers, we just use our fingers to express ourselves.
You mentioned English was difficult to learn as a second language. I’ll bet you had an even harder time learning Chinese, which I hear is much harder than English because there is no alphabet in that language!
Your parents are in Arkansas? I never knew China was located in Arkansas! I was never very good with geography.

A “shifu” or “sifu” is a noun meaning “master” or “a teacher kungfu” in Chinese. We also pronounce “kungful” different also. It is “koongfu”.
I may have pronounced it the way I was taught. It was my attempt to translated over to the English/American language.
Anyhow for a scholarly gentlemen as you all are. I would have thought you all understood what I was trying conveyed. I considered you all are “masters” of your Art, The Art of Airguns. If this is not true, please let me know and I shall humbly apologise.
I also apologise for my poor English skill. Having four language in my brain is quite jumbled up. As I mentioned, English is the most challenging language for me to learn.

Thank you so much for your input on the Hill pump. I greatly appreciate it. Now with all jokes aside. I do sincerely respect all members of the TAG who share there knowledge na d wisdom. “We live in a world of mortals. The only ways humans could become immortals is to pass our knowledge and wisdom to otherone another.” The true reason why I joined the TAG is not only to gain knoldge and wisdom. I noticed that this forum has member from all over the world. Regardless of race and ethnic background we collect here for a common interest and our passion for airguns.
Brother Hemn, I was or still am village boy whose father was a military officer working for the Great United States of America. Cannot go into details but my younger two brothers have fought in the Irag wars. L cpl Marine Corp., 1991 when Sadam invaded Kuwait. Active duty Staff Sergeant US National Guard, a lifer, 2 tours Iraq and one tour Afghanistan. Me? I am battle tested at the age of 7 through 11. Father saids no military for me. I’ve had enough.
Believe me I know what you are going through. Brother love and enjoy life to the fullest. We all here at the TAG share a common bond and that airguns. Peace and love be in all of your hearts.
Now lets push aside all the seriousness and have fun learning ad joking amongst each other.
