I got home a bit early today and took the Lelya to my backyard for some tests.
I have 2x of SWFA SS 16×42 Tactical Riflescope, I mounted 1 on my Matador .22 cal long version, the second scope I got from Jeff, it’s still in the box ๐ , I have order 2 set mounts from SWFA, they’re not arrive yet, so I pulled the mounts from my Matador and put it on my new Lelya to perform some tests.
First, I started it with the “JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.1 Grains, Domed” pellets through my ProChrone Digital, I got an everage 716 FPS, high 721FPS, low 712 FPS. Can can see the pellets flying through the scope, I don’t like that velocity, it’s kinda slow for me. So I swap the pellets with JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo Express .22 Cal, 14.3 Grains, Domed.
Here is the results.
I shot approximate 100 pellets through her, it’s started to group well, but then the dark coming down, I could not see my target @ 30 yard. So time to clean up and take few more pictures inside my house ๐
I still have plenty of the JSB 18.1 pellets, but I ran out other JSB 14.3 pellets. I also want to try some of the JSB .22 Cal, 15.9 Grains, Diabolo Exact Jumbo, anybody know where to get these JSB pellets @ local stores?
Lelya is super short and light weight, it’s about 20″ long, fit right inside your long arms ๐ , well balance when shooting off hands, but not friendly when shooting from the bench. You can tell from the look of the stock.
The Lelya seem to be louder than my Matador, I can feel a little recoil when shoot off hands and the trigger pull is a bit heavy compare it with my Matador, I need to adjustment it at later times once other tests are done. I will do a lot more tests coming weekend if I could get those lighter pellets @ the local stores. I am not planning to use the 18.1 grain on this small gun, I think I will end up using the 15.9 grain pellets or 14.3 grain whichever pellet does with Lelya.
