Let’s talk a little bit about ST barrels
When Ted uploaded his MOA group at 100y some of his pellets were wobbling, and at least one was flat out spiraling. FRANK uploaded a video of his Impact shooting at 90 yards and a few of his pellets are spiraling/wobbling too.
How come? Is seems to be common in Smooth Twist barrels to spiral pellets, very discouraging.

Ok Family lets talk a little bit about ST barrels….if the smooth twist barrels are not a great barrel then why is it that at the EBR 2016 75 and 100 yard competition FX made up 75% of guns and Daystate made and WAR made up the rest? Is it because none of us TAG would belittle ourselves to go out there to AOA’s shitty event (just kidding because everyone there said it was the bomb) and represent? I know it wasn’t because only FX lovers where invited or that it was sponsors by AGN whom is extremely bias (which i don’t total agree with (just a little LOL))? Why is it? Even the Cricket made a showing in the speed shooting event. No Vulcans or Mutants….WHAT THE HELL. Because we all know that from best to worse barrel are the BSA, LW, CZ, then ST. Well at least the BSA did show up and represent.
This is proof that smooth twist and FX guns are accurate at 100 yards http://hardairmagazine.com/news/extreme-benchrest-2016-final-day/
When my Leshiy comes we’ll have a “meet the Leshiy” BBQ. We may have private land this time! G when will you be stateside again?
Mine is going to take just as long, but I still love shooting my Tactic so we will still hook up. Even if it to just hang out and drink like grown folks do. Shit we need to get with Keyser, it’s almost time to do another barbarque.
Your a big baller Renval, i’ll get there one day. :biggrinn: A LW barrel would be good too. I will have to keep that in mind the multiple scopes for different calibers, good idea if you have some laying around.
Hahaha I have an inexpensive tactical mueller scope for the 22cal, it has a decent glass and it’s pretty light. Let’s get together once you get back, hopefully you’ll get your Impact before that, mine took freaking 7 months to get here!
Honestly, I don’t Care for switching calibers. The Impact is so Long I would only want it in .25 and a different gun for a different caliber. If we’re talking .177 then I’d like a Cricket Compact. .22 a Mutant and .25 a Vulcan or Impact and .30 a Impact. But even Matt dubbers Impact sends out wobbly pellets, there’s just something about those ST barrels.

I have an Impact in .22 and .30, I’m going to get a .25cal barrel soon but I’m taking a different route, I would like to get a hammer forged BSA barrel but I heard BSA doesn’t sale them separately anymore, I guess I would have to get a LW barrel for this project or get a ST barrel. Btw I have 2 different scopes for the .22 and the .30 so I don’t have to make any adjustments when I switch barrels, now I have to get a 3th scope for the .25!
Sounds good to Me! I can wait 😉
But I can’t send my gun to Ernest because I live in Sweden
Cricket for ever one bad review there are about ten people praising the Impact. Second you could always pick one up and have Ernest swap out the barrel. How bout we revisit this in 6 months when I get mine then I’ll either be eating crow or I will be on the band wagon full time.
Nice, looking forward to it. I really like the look of the .25 Impact but not a fan of ST. If they offered it with a LW barrel like in the good old days I would buy it even if that option cost more.
The ST barrel that i have were also very accurate, i only say for long range is a normal barrel better.
ST and FX are very popular and have many hundred thousands an the market
therefore also many videos exist.
NOTHING HAS WORKED!

This video is from me!
It shows bad ST barrels and the bad FX quality check after 2012.
Wenn i have time i will post the endless story betwen me and FX to get a good ST barrel. :angrymob:
What about that video on Youtube about a Impact where the thumbnail says

!WTF! Sniperqty AirGun have stolen my Avatar!!! :suprisedn: :suprisedn:
LOL good man
Ken yes i understand what you are saying and the photo has nice shooting. I will check out the youtube video soon. But you are NOT accepting what i have offer as proof that a smooth twist barrel can shoot remarkable well as demonstrated by the video’s i listed on youtube as well. I’m not saying all other barrels are not as good, i’m just saying ST barrels CAN be as good. Second ST barrels have places extremely well at the extreme bench rest competitions too. Thats all. Thanks.

What’s up Brian, hope this finds you doing well, looking forward to anther meet and greet. For all that don’t know Keyser does it up right, good time for all. I will be home by the end of the month, also in the middle of buying a new crib with about an acre in the back yard (still within city limit *wink, wink) so i can brush up on my skills. But you name the time and the place and I will be there brother. And as always keep up with the videos I love em, thinking about picking up a Edgun 12×44 scope as soon as i get my next gun (if not sooner one really can never have too many scopes LOL).
