Now, these aren’t the Kodiak’s, these are the JSB 18.1 Exacts. I shot the rest of my kodiaks at a tree to get rid of them, These Exacts have replaced the Kodes For Ever. Cleaned the barrel, oiled the pellets and sighted in (almost dead on) by shooting off hand at two birds. First bird, head shot but was aiming at center body mass. Second Bird, hit barely to the right, adjusted for this, and the gun was for the most part sighted in. Kodes have NEVER shot that nice out of my gun.
I received a nasty email, I guess from a member here, no name, openly stating that what I had previously said I was capable of is a lie. Well, here are my First Groups Ever with the JSB’s, I love my Condor 😀
BTW, all of these groups are shot at 1,215 f.p.s. average. (Chrony’ed it)
Yes, this is an Offhand group. As I said in a previous thread, I have been sharpshooting for years, and for an airgun shooting pell’s over Mach 1, I’d like to think this is a damn good group. (looks Like I shot Washington’s head, then neck off 😈 )
This isn’t my best, but this is in a 23 MPH crosswind, after dark with the target paper lit by a flashlight on a stand, and yes, at 40 yards 😎

I can shoot moa at 400 with my bum.
300 yards is about the end of short range shooting where groups really start to open up. Many decent ar-15’s don’t have too much trouble holding 1-1.5 moa at 100 yards with great ammo. Even at 200 yards wind and such aren’t affecting anything too much. But at 300 it starts opening up. I would say in calm conditions with an excellent shot, a good ar-15, and the best ammo you could keep groups under 5″ at 300 yards. That’s 5″ groups, not a 5″ target. I’ve tried shooting an 8″ target at 300 yards with open sights and I can’t focus on it. But with a scope or an appropriate size target it could be done.
However, I doubt a whole lot of people could. Just looking at people shoot on the range, they are lucky to get 4″ groups at 100 yards with a scope. So I am very hesitant to believe anyone with MOA claims until I see any kind of evidence. I usually doubt the shooter before the rifle. I just don’t understand why people think they need to claim they can do it if they can’t. I mean, you’ll get much better if you admit you aren’t shooting great and ask for tips rather than saying, “look, I shot .25moa at 100 yards with my mosin nagant!” If I bring someone to the range who claims they can shoot great, they usually will shoot about 3 moa with my .22lr. If they say they want advice, I will have them close to 1moa in an hour.

I don’t know how we all managed to miss the ar shooting thing.
I guess that is possible though. I mean, I usually hit soda cans (not old enough to shoot beer) from 600 yards with my .22lr and iron sights. Granted the sights are very good, and the long barrel helps precision. But I did it a few days ago offhand and hit 3/5. Oh, did I mention it was in a tornado? Doping wind for a .22lr is hard in 140mph winds, but you just have to aim to the side. After a few sighter shots I was dead on.
Beer cans and 24 oz coke bottles are what, about 3″ in diameter (a little less)? So to consistently hit a 3″ wide target at 300 yards you’d need a better than 1 MOA gun / sighting / bench / shooter combination right? An AR with open sight? OK, but few military sniper rifles are 1 MOA and a standard AR sure as hell isn’t. Must be one hell of a nice accurizing job on that gun and jeez, that guy can freaking shoot!

I’ve owned a Condor for nine months now, I love this gun, but it can also piss me off. I’ve bagged a HUGE Ground Hog at 15 yards, two Opossums one at 10 yards and on at 3 yards, and two squirrels out of a tree, offhand, at 75 yards. As I said, I like this gun, but here’s what I don’t like…
Yesterday, five target groups from 40 yards zeroed, In the Same Pellet Hole, literally, no deviation in POI at all. Today’s target groups, Five Groups Five Shots, 2 1/2 inch groupings, no touching holes. Some days it goes back and forth between groups, and always with ANY pellet.
During the summer, one day from the back porch I shot 4 wasps off the top of their nest at 52 yards with Beeman kodiaks. The very next day, same pellet, same chair, same pressure, same hold, same weather and same temp it took 10 shots just to hit the nest. I know it’s not me, I’ve been sharp shooting since I was 9, and I love to show off to friends by shooting nine 24 ounce coke bottles with nine shots at 300 yards lasered using my Father’s old AR 15 .223 with Open Sights. Accuracy problems are not coming from me.
My question is does any else experience this? If so, what the hell causes it? I really like this gun, but it’s tempting to sell it and get an Evanix Rainstorm which I personally know has beautiful shooting characteristics and reputation.
I keep my barrel clean, Hoppe’s oil and patches, from breech, no brushes. Cleaned pellets, and lightly oiled, sorted as well. I thought maybe it could be the scope but I haven’t had time to mount a new one and zero it. Kodiak Extra Heavy’s are doing the best overall, but are too expensive IMHO, and I have a package of 1,000 JSB Jumbo 18.1’s to be delivered today so I can give those a try, even though it’s going to be really cold this evening.
BTW, the gun is totally stock, no mod’s, with mounted AF 4-16X50 scope.
Am I the only one with this particular problem, or is this common for a stock AF Rifle?

I definitely missed the awesome AR shooting BS! Either he is a spectacular shot and can dope the wind better than any man alive and has super vision and his AR is far more accurate than the M4 I used at that range… Or, he’s full of shit.

During my Army days, I ALWAYS shot Hawkeye, Nothing less.
And that would be damn hard for me to do. SO 
You all forgot about impressing his friends with a open sighted AR-15 at 300 yards by regularly hitting beer cans. Pretty much sumed it up for me.Yu can barley take a bead on a 5 gallon bucket at 300 yards with open sights. i have shot at both at this range with several of my guns open sighted and scoped, and AR’s .
I would not mind reading his post, he just needs to take a chill pill. and realize the collective experience that he is trying to preach to.

I would do a write up on shooting super sonic and test several pellets. but i cant shoot that condor around the house with it cracking the barrier and echoing down the street. i would have to go to the range.
Noob give us the specifics, gun settings, bench rest groups, different pellets used etc.
Also i can shoot the 32 grain Eunjines at 1000 fps and get 75 .80 foot pounds and stay under the sound barrier and get 1/2” groups at 50 yards.so why bother trying to test over the sound barrier??
I would like to see what the capabilities of the 32 g. is at max velocities, i think i have seen my gun shoot them at around 1200 maxed out in the garage just messing around shooting thou the crony with the doors closed.
