Q:

Matador metal valve stem update almost done for testing

Look great so far, will test al least 1 thousand rounds or more on my .22 R3 then .25 r3M. No need to have a long spring guide past the guide bushing, just take up air space. After I know it has proper spring tension to seal for filling and hold pressure at 250b? I need some members to test the valve stem—- that shot a lot like 100+ Shots a day—-Any volunteers ???????

Ernest ,,,

Really nice development and help, as usual, i think who will buy one of this, he will be survived from the fear of stem breaking …. don’t you think that?

hope you can make it for .22cals…

Yes appears 30 is the same but too lite duty, they will be the best testers for ruggedness

Ride,

You had yours apart already. :biggrinn: Can you answer Ernest’s question? If nothing else I can send you one of my 30 cal spares from Tony.

Also, I can test one in my R3 .25 Marauder. 😉

Send one to me and I will work it over in my Standard 30 cal Matador if it fits. 😀 Donny can vouch that I am a shootaholic. I work from home and do frequent shooting breaks every day. 😆 I’ll just order another 16 tins of 44s.

I vouch for Brant. He works part time in IT at home and full time pesting.

Nice improvement! Looks like it would be easy to replace the seal, too. Does the extra weight cause minor issues?

Thanks.

If you can, !! I’d really like to buy 2 of them as the 30’s eat them as stated above and I would like to put one in my cast bullet shooting 25 long. We are going to have to hit the valve hard on these to get those bullets moving with this valve arrangement and have been talking about ways to do a suped up valve. My TJ’s barrel is being fitted now and wanting to start testing on the chrony very soon. It is going to be a competition gun and having it go down at a meet would be a real bummer.

Ernest, I’ll sign up for that, and happily put it in my 30 as they seem to be eating them in less than 1000 shots !! Let me know the cost and put one in my Reg. Setter box when it ships. Your cam lever shipped Monday.

I’ll be your huckleberry. I’ve got over 50k each of 22 and 25 JSB pellets sitting on the shelf.
My 25 is currently set to 940fps with the JSB 25s and already has appx 17k pelleted through it.
I’ll torture test it for sure.
