Don’t think your banned unless you’ve been notified of such. A couple months back I couldn’t post nor reply and sent at least 4 emails to Steve for clarification and for his assistance but to no avail. I even asked him in an email if I had in fact been banned with no response. Then decided to email Keoni for his support and he took it up with Steve. It appeared Steve didn’t get my emails but within a couple days of Keoni’s help I was back in the saddle and was able to post and reply. Prior to my trouble I remember a couple others had difficulty in posting also. There must be a glitch going around then on the other hand you do post positive replies with respect to the Edguns. Ha ha LOL.

Side note, what part of Montana are you moving too. Considering moving there myself.

Regarding the barrel torque business ; That´s how several of those R3´s i know off behaved too. The reson, in those cases i´ve seen , has been either the distance between the shroud/scope bridge, the shroud itself or the muffler housing being (or in the worst case all of them) machined oval (as in a sub-par Lathe) or/and the hole itself being out of center (or not perfectly middle. Thus when you torque everything together they never fit together the same way if you don´t align everything exctly the same every time. After a while something always works itself loose ,probably due vibration and the un-even pressure oval holes being out of center, brings along.
Dr, Evil is close to his final solution, almost like Adolf Hitler thought he was, now but that has meant countless of hours testing and a whole lot of hours by the Lathe.
That really, really shouldn´t be the case with such expensive rifle and while i have no doubt (almost none) Ed would´ve send new parts to fix the problem , owners of these expensive Guns don´t want to wait months on end for them spares.
And since there have been several incidents one don´t have to be a Sherlok and still come to a conclusion that there are a whole batch of those bad parts in the loop thus even if one finally gets those spares it could be the same story all over again – sub-par spares.
However it´s diced there´s only one truth and that is ; The EG spare parts supply sucks ! Bad, really bad !
Like i said before ; When i know for a fact that this thing has changed , i´ll buy an R3 (or whatever the model will be by then) Long, single shot version , that hopefully has either the old steel breech OR a new, improved equal.
Untill that it´s all KalibrGun for me.
I know this may stir up some bad blood here but i´ve always spoken my mind – regardless what everyone else may think about that. When the marching band goes left is reason enough for me to turn right , if i feel that left sucks. That´s me and that´s that. Bring on the War Hatches !!

I have nothing against Russians…we American’s have this generalization about Russians being tough and not prone to minor issues. Like when we see a Youtube video with something cool…there’s a common comment “In mother Russia” meaning what we Americans would consider abnormal or difficult its just another day in Mother Russia.

KalibrGun support is great from several different dealers the US. WWAG or TAG or R&L and there are other dealers. They blew up a very large support network in very little time (one year) with the big manufacturing operation they are running in CZ. KalibrGun may be highly leveraged though. We just don’t know. Ed operates Edgun on more of a cash basis it seems and that may be the winner in the long run. Who knows. 😛

He has machined his own parts and remachined existing EG parts and now finally he´s close to get it right. If your Cricket is indeed clipping or some parts are out of true or excentric try to fix that – or, better yet FIX it – or you´ll never know what could´ve been .. It´s a shame yours is a .22 standard or i´d have send my OEM shroud so you could test it. That one is faultless and thankfully so is my CF shroud too.

BTW – i don´t know how the KalibrGun CS is in USA but over here it´s very good and very fast. Superb ! 😯
