Mrodair Compressor Guinea Pig
Hello, a newbie to PCP’s here.
I put in a pre-order for the upcoming Mrodair “Airmax” compressor
Thus, far just an automated acknowledgment receipt from Yahoo and haven’t heard anything more re ETA.
Yep, guinea pig ordering a new product. Hopefully it works out.

There is another airgun website carrying a very similar compressor across the pond ,I’ll link it if I can find it again because it may shed a little more light on mrods one coming out.the mrods may be the same but with a better cooling set up.
We’ll all see how this turns out. Might be a huge mistake, might be okay, might be a good move. Can’t tell yet, but definitely will report here how things go.
Just finished another session pumping up to 250 bar using a Hill Mark 4 and it really isn’t hugely fun with my 5’3″ frame.

I get my parts in a day and talk to the guy that hand built my compressor when I have a question.

Received a note from Micahel Esch saying that they sold 23 in the first 24 hours and have doubled their initial order from China to 100 units.
Pricing is expected to be $300 to $400 higher after the pre-sales
Assembly time to ship is 20 days.
Then shipping time about 15 days.
He also definitely recommends the upgraded cooling because the stock units heat up quickly it one is filling tanks. For filling guns directly, it is ok.
I’m definitely in for the add on upgrades and dryer.
I’ll also look for and install a hour meter. I think a machine like this should have one.
I’m in also. Plus waiting for my Airmax Varmit PCP .177.

Yeah looks very nice to me and if its easy to rebuild all the better.I’ve actually been in contact with the other manufacturing company several times and at the time they had no US distribution (lol my phone don’t translate Chinese well)I wouldn’t doubt this is same compressor and with their upgrades could be a good investment vs 3000$ plus compressors.
