Q:

My .25 Vulcan

Well it is officially 7:30 am here in West Central Wisconsin. My Vulcan is being pulled off the Postal truck now and will be available for pick up at the post office when they open. Plan is to head out to my buddy’s place and strap the MTC Viper Connect on top, get her dialed in and hit the woods for a squirrel hunt. Saturday was opener here and he and I bagged 9 Greys and a fat hopper with the Disco and my .25 Prod. (Pics to come)I figure I’ll deal with all the crony stuff a bit later today and get to drawing some blood first. Probably just dial in with light Kings firs as the seem to be a good pellet in the Vulcan from what I have read…too ready been too long…can’t wait I’m like a kid on Christmas! :7: :8:

Where did you find the foster adapter? Was it included?

I am happy with the stock I think the grain looks nice on this particular gun. I am wondering if the holiday in August in Italy caused Evgeny to send the soft cases rather than the usual hard case… I had a little trouble getting the fill probe to work on my hill pump I had to wrap the foster adapter with seal tape on the threads. If anyone has any further advice on filling this is the first time I have used this particular style of fill probe. I mounted the Viper connect but honestly did not like the Weaver to dovetail adapter one bit so I went with forward mounted low rings like Ville… they gave me a perfect height so the cheek weld is beautiful. I cannot get over how small and light this gun is it’s amazing! Wanted to send a string or two through the crony before taking it out to sight in and hunt however I was unable due to dead batteries and no more on hand. I’m currently on my way out to a friends to shoot the hell out of it get it cited in and probably go on a squirrel hunt for a couple of hours on my way home I will pick up batteries for the crony to see where it sits. But upon handling this gun I gotta say it feels like a real gem p I love the left side bolt hoping for very nice groups as I’m sure they will improve as the regulator settles. Just for the record the packaging was solid and I was happy with shipping time in the communication with Peter at Top Gun I don’t know what it sounded like before his shroud modifications but it certainly does seem to be very loud it all out at the moment. The ping is certain noticeable but I would be indoors you will see how it is outside. What a great day to be off work so excited! :7:
