My EdGun Matador R3M 22 cal
I received my Matador (01/05/2014) in absolutely perfect condition and in 3 days ! 
I enjoyed talking to Tony R, he is easy to joke around with so much so I forgot to order some extra Brass rings ! 😳
2+3 extra mags, 2 valve stems and an extra fill probe.
I fill to 220 bar and shot down to 110 bar using JSB 18g, here the out of box chrony results with a 920 fps average.
I refilled to 200 bar and got 50 good shots down to 120 bar.
I haven’t cleaned the barrel yet, 5 shot group at 50 yards with little wind.
5 shot group 75 yards with little wind.
At rest on my chrony/work bench, I can’t wait for this weekend hopping it doesn’t rain !!

There is not a torque value that we have on this. We recommend hand tight, then a ¼ of a turn.

I also read that it helps to use Loctite as well.

What is the torque that you use to mount the scope? I am talking about base and rings.
I’d do that and ask SWFA then post update here.
All manufactures have different torque spec for there rings ……….. but
…. most of my rings are torque to 15 in/lbs and picatinny base between 20-25 in/lbs, dovetail base 25-30 inch pounds.

greg, you will really grow to love the SWFA scope. The SWFA and EDgun are like peas and carrots. You know there is a guy who makes zero stops for them?

hum …… …. .. . I would think if you’re a target shooter u’d use a higher magnification scope ?

I have a bubble level on my scope rail that I know is already level so Hemn post method worked faster I think ?
But that’s good to know Keyser soze, then the easy parallel card between the scopes under and rail should work also.
I don’t like to mount the bubble level on the scope itself and I mount mines on the right side not on the common left like most.

I used SWFA x10 to shoot mine.
I don’t know if you know this but the SWFA has true turrets. What I mean by that is they are one of the few lower priced scopes where the turret cap is level so you can use 2 bubble levels (one on the turret cap one on the rail) to true up your reticle.

I like it so much that I bought another one before the sale ended on Monday, it should arrive today.
The radical is thicker then on the Hawke but I like it for hunting/pesting a lot of times with the thinner I loose the radical when I’m aim into the brush.

Just setup my SWFA SS 3-15×42 FFP MQ last night, picked it up for $560 on sale at SWFA Outdoors.
Decided to test it out on my Matador which it replaced a Hawke 6.5-20×42 SW.
Using Hemn post to level the radical made for a quicker fool proof method.

At full magnification of 15x it focused clearer and brighter then my Hawke, where the Hawke has a dull slightly muddy look in comparison to the SWFA.

If a new owner experience this high then spec MOA in there Matador scope rail they can try and loosen the 2 rail hex bolts and tap the rail back and forth with a screwdriver handle to try and reset it.
Retighten the 2 Hex bolts (torque to 20 in/lbs) and remount the scope and check for improvement, the POI should be lowered.
If not an improvement they will need to detention the barrel nut and reset the scope rail once more.
I did it to my friends Matadors and his return to the intended factory spec of 20 MOA from an almost 30 MOA previously.

I believe that is why some owner reported it was hard for them to even zero at 50 yards because they ran out of downward vertical turret adjustment.

yes,,again you are right,,, i had the same problem when i tried the Delta scope on my Edgun,,,i couldn’t zeroed at 50 mtrs ,,,then i came back to my hawke and i installed the Delta on my Benjamin Marauder,,,worked well on it,,,

when I want something to be vibration tight but still have the ability to remove the screw without heat I use clear fingernail polish on the threads.
