How many of you brain surgeons use an LDC on your Standards and Shortys?
Hoot:
I bought my Vulcan Tactic from Peter when he was in the process of transferring the store over. It took awhile to get my gun, and it arrived with the wrong fill probe (Matador) but got ahold of Peter and he got it taken care of. I believe the store was probably too much for him in the end, but I don’t think he is a shady character. I did a lot of research before ordering it from him and A LOT of PEOPLE HERE, vouched for him. So sad story yes, wish things worked out better for you, but not all people had bad transaction, but stealing is totally unacceptable even once.
Kind regards,

Uncle Hoot – I just received my Standard yesterday. I ran it across the chrony with the tank attached and when the shots went off the regulator the needle on the gauge look to be about 128bar by my estimate.
Why send it off? Just insert pins in the hst and dial in your speed… Dont like the trigger, then watch earnest’s video on adjustments.
Although i really have not touched mine, i think aside from the reg, adjustments are easy.
How much “power” you need?
I think the mutant factory reg setting is 130 bar…. My standard only took minimal hst adjustment (butit was in charlie’s hands first). And my shorty has only just arrived….
Also my initial thoughts are that the shorty is much easier to handle it does bark a little louder than my standard.
:hoot:
Mucho Grapefruits Cal…
Now, to whom does one send one’s Mutant Shorty to get adjusted for maximum power? Huh? Huh?
I’m not saying I have one, because as everyone knows none are available, BUT…if I did have one????
Kind regards Mutants….

Clean barrel, Dirty barrel it really makes no difference out to 48 yards, Had me scratching my head?

Interesting Mike….I didn’t know you used Listerine in your air guns, and I was under the impression that you scratch your nuts way more than you scratch your bald head!!!
Question: Do you know what your regulators BAR setting is? Did you have to adjust your HST to get optimal results?
Kind regards,
Uncle Hoot:
I got a Listone barrel on my Mutant and it kicks ass , Thanks Dman

A good ending to report. A customer named Luke was able to buy The Shorty from Nika and Dman sold him his personal Listone barrel at half price. This barrel did shoot the JSB 15.9’s very well, a lot better than the unchoked barrel that was on the gun. I have shipped the gun to Luke and soon he should be able to enjoy his new Mutant.
The people of this forum and their positive efforts have help this come to a positive end.
Thanks

When dealing with Assholes…one must remember what they were originally intended to produce!

I talked to Peter and Bori when the Crickets first became available. Something about BOTH of them just did not seem right. I decided to buy from Dima and had absolutely no problems with the transaction.
I have been out of the air gun loop for a few months while concentrating on fishing and work. By the way, fishing has sucked ass this year due to the weather. Anyway, I remember some controversy surrounding Joe Brancato when the business changed hands. All I can say is that Joe has always been responsive and more than accommodating to me. In fact, the first time I ever talked to him, he sent me a fitting just on my word that I would mail him a check (which I did). I just hate it when good people get caught up in bad situations.

Good news! :angrymob:
Nice!
