New .25 Shorts are here!
Hey guys, shameless plug time…
I am super excited about the new .25 shorts. I have longed for one forever and now Ed makes them. These new models have a bunch of upgrades and I think you’ll be pleased. I am going to make a video about all the changes to the R3M. Until my video here’s some eye candy of the new short compared to my personal .25 standard.
I thought the little guy looks perfect with the 2.5-10X32 Vortex PST FFP, notice the balance

I have tested them and they came from the factory shooting 895-900 FPS, In my opinion that is the perfect speed for a short .25

When I saw your setup the first thing I thought was that the Edgun would be the most difficult to shoot due to the trigger.
Are you speaking about recent triggers? Maybe there has been an improvement because Edguns have never been famous for their triggers.
Better than Cricket and Vulcan. I had all of them.
How are the triggers? Haven’t heard much good about Eddy triggers and wouldn’t fancy tinkering for hours just to get a decent feel.

Sorry! I’ve been snorting a mixture of Stevia, 100% Cocoa powder, and some ground up natural mountain herbs, known for their medicinal properties, and my perception of “What Is” was not “What Was”. Although I will say my sinuses have never been clearer!!!
I still use my original 12″ Black/White CRT monitor…why do you ask??? 320 X 200 resolution has always served me well….although the radiation sometimes gives me a headache!

Knowing the accuracy is great, I know my gun is lights out, hole in hole accurate indoors at 42m because SirVille shot it like that. I doubt I could get the same results myself but I don’t need to because I know the gun itself can do it. So If I miss at that distance it was either a bad pellet or me, not the gun. And that is a great knowledge to have, so you wont start doubting your guns capabilities when it is actually your own capabilities that is at fault. :2cents:
One thing for sure, in my books a bullpup must be in short configuration, that’s why this style of weapon has been invented.
If you look for more power or better shotcount then probably a rifle is a better option than a “musket length” bullpup.
Concerning accuracy…
I fully agree with Shooter that the “real” accuracy of a gun should be proved by scientific unbiased tests and should be known but I believe there is a difference between the european and american concept of accuracy.
The european shooter, mostly target shooter, looks for 10s or bullseye accuracy, while the american shooter, doing probably mostly hunting or pest control, looks more for killzone accuracy.
Personally I believe pcps suits them both.
Hoot, what kind of glasses do you wear and what kind of a display do you have? That’s obvious it’s a shadow. Who on earth would post a picture with a crack on the stock during the promotion?

my Nobel Uncle Hoot: … the reason that i think it is a shadow,,,because the shadow goes up on the air reservoir also,,,look ,,if it is the scratch/crack on the stock ,,then how can go on the air tube ??

I have never heard of anyone complaining of a “bulky handle” on the Matador stocks. I have short fingers and a meaty palm and I never had any difficulty with the stock.

If all the issues with the R3M have been resolved, it would seem to be a nice gun. I’ll bet it’s not cheap.

I must say the Eddy stock looks a little bulky around the handle, do you need big hands to shoot it comfortably or is it just a trick of the light? I have never held an Edgun before.
