New Condor valve
Been some rumblings about it elsewhere. I called AF to see if I could buy one. Supposedly, this new valve solves the 3000psi fill pressure issue in the Condors and makes them quite consistent.
Issue is that if your Condor is under warranty, they will replace it. If not….. $80 to get the replacement.
They wont sell them seperately though. I called and tried to buy one…no-go. Asked if there were plans for an updated Talon valve and was told…’nope!’

Problem is I’m so broke I can’t do anything. If airforce won’t get me one, then I’ll just have to live with it I guess.
It just sucks. 😛 I’ll have it working for a while. It’ll be great. Leveled out at 900 fps with the eun jins, 20 shots. Perfect. It’ll do that for a couple days, then just decide to quit. It’ll go erratic and totally haywire. Velocity’s all over the place. Most of the time it will shoot so slow the pellet will barely make it down the barrel. Then, the next week, after no modifications, I can’t slow it down under 950. I can’t figure it out. I love the power. If I could trade it in, I’d want one of those bigbore guns. I have other squirrel guns. I want one of those 909’s or something. Only problem is, I want it kind of quiet. Doesn’t have to be silent, but just quiet. Don’t know how I’d do that though. Plus, I don’t know who’d buy/trade for a condor. 😛
Anyway, rants over. I’ll stop complaining and just live with this thing. 😛

I am getting my Talon SS all tricked out from Anthony and if something goes wrong I sort of already know that I am on my own in a sense.
To be honest I feel better working with Anthony than some of the other outlets.
See if you can make em do it …
Tony will take better care of you then airforce no doubt.
Hell man call em in the service department and talk Original ownership and their obligation to cover what should be a recall item anyway.

A lifetime warranty is a lifetime warranty… it doesnt matter WHEN you notice the problem.
What if you ONLY just got a chrony after having owned the gun after 3 years… Thats a BS response.
So long as me not reporting the problem didnt aggravate the issue and make it worse than there is no time limit to when you notify of a defect with a LIFETIME warranty…

Glad to see they stand behind their product! Would it kill them to even split the cost just to be fair???
Oh well if it was not for the Condor group (AF excluded) where would this product be?? I still love my Condor and will continue to build it and make it the way it should have left the factory in the first place.

Now I am really on the fence here, buy the new Condor valve from AF and take yet another chance on someone not standing behind the product or buy a custom valve where old fashioned pride is factored into the equation.

Yes, you should have been able to fill the air tank to 3000psi and receive full power shots just as we advertise. We are sorry you did not contact us regarding this matter as soon as you had the problem. Our rifles have a lifetime warranty as long as you are the original owner and have done no modifications.

Your response should be Gaylord told your gauge was not reading the correct pressure and it had no fill problem. He lied to you and they should replace it due to this fact.
I sent an email and explained how mine won’t shoot 100% correct all the time and seeing if I could get a new one. I asked nicely. Nothing mean. Just said that I would like the new one because mine doesn’t work. Here is their reply.

This is why I will buy mine from Anthiny266 and get it done right the first time.
Lets face it. The people here who customize our rifles do way more for us than the Company who will not be involved with it because of liability issues etc…
And I thank the people here very much for this! Next week (or when he can)I will have my Talon SS back and it will be so much nicer than what you could have had otherwise and this is a good thing!

Hi dirty harry, did you have to get a product return authorization number or something from Air Force and whom did you address your package to? Any special identification/instruction submitted with your Condor so that they know it’s for the new valve?

Well, have you ever felt the wrath of a 35 year old GERMAN woman, biological clock ticking, who put’s in 18 hour days 7 day’s a week (by choice, go figure) dealing with confused teenage birthmom’s, ignorant hospital staff, lawyers and panicked adoptive families and when she does sleep they call her throughout her short night?… Bring on the winds!!! Although im a man, you might see me running towards the storm yelling ” Calgon take me away”!
On a side note im glad you battled those storms out victoriously (as in your still ALIVE) I know they are nothing to scoff at. I have not endured one but I have seen the devastation caused by them and its unreal.

I think it was YN that made a recent post explaining how your situation could/should be handled. I can’t put it like he did but he said that AF has an obligation to replace the valve whether the gun is under warranty or not. Something about the gun not performing as advertised no matter how old it is. No, it’s not a helluva lot of money for the new valve but maybe a little kicking and screaming at AF will get you a free one. Or just look for YN’s post on how to handle this matter. He hit the nail on the head.

Guys, I sucked it up and bought a new valve. Unf**kin’ believable. 1st shot, 3K fill was 1140 FPS with a Crosman Accupell. I’m not happy at having to pay $105 but I’ve tried everything else to make it work properly and now I’ve found it. I now find myself trying to settle it down a bit. Well worth the money, this seems to be the answer to the Condors problems. Bitching, moaning and complaining (like I did) won’t cure your Condor like this new valve has. Just offering my $.02. JFK
Forgot to mention: I have an Anthony266 110 gr hammer, nothing but the best.
