NEW: FX BOBCAT MK2
Talked to FX via email about the Bobcat MK2 that will allow to external adjusting of Regulator
———–
Yes we have a new Bobcat Mk2.
The difference of the Bobcat and the Bobcat Mk2 is a new lighter tube with
the max pressure of 250bar, regulator standard and manometer upfront (no
copper tube)
They will be available in a week and a half.
Best regards Johan

I thought that was the norm and you import refugees to keep the population stable?
In Sweden the most extreme is two guys who get married. Sick ? Bad ? Not good in any way but , then again : It´s OK.
Sorry about that. I think we should also start AlmOst for All Extreme BenchRest at 10M – AOAEBR. In that competition only .177 FXs are allowed.

Stop that ! Extreme is extreme. 🙂
Have they banned BSAs as well as bullet shooters? FX only event?
Exactly! That XBR at 75 yards is a joke. Nothing extreme at 68 or so meters – at all.
It’s always a pleasure to disgust you Ville
There was actually a .30 Bobcat in our last 100M BR comp and it’s groups were about twice as big as my .25 BSAs. I guess they are not all that hot after all, perhaps there’s a reason why EBR is only at 75 yards.
I have to agree with RKR here, although it disgusts me a bit.
I´ve had an laser accurate Cricket .177 Compact that literally stacked Pellets at 50m (10.3 gr Heavies) but more than 75-80m the thing started to spread. Too light pellets for that long range. Indoors it may be ok for 100m but the smallest wind will give a .177 fits. For 100m shooting i´d pick a .25 .
Dear Geyser,
I maintain that, given quality pellets, equal shooting conditions, such as an indoor controlled climate environment, a .177 pellet, fired at sufficient subsonic velocities, can perform as accurately as any larger caliber pcp fired pellet at 100 yards, which was the distance in question.
You can’t determine equivalent accuracy, if you match a hollow .177 pellet against a boat-tailed, solid lead, pcp fired slug, of any caliber, at any range. That’s apples and oranges. And, I agree, beyond 100 yards, a heavier, shaped, solid lead slug will outdo a hollow pellet any day.

Practice shows different. There have been few .177 builds for Dutch 100M comps and none have succeeded. Those shooters usually changed the barrel to .25 and did very well after that. I personally have tried .177 at long range and while 50M groups are good (10mm ctc or less) the groups spread up badly at 100M (100mm+). My .25 also does that 10mm ctc or less at 50M and it can keep the accuracy beyond that doing around 20mm ctc at 100M. Guns from same manufacturer, equal accuracy at 50M, one caliber keeps the accuracy at 100M while the other doesn’t.

Hoot I disagree that that all caliber are the same. This may be true at short range but not past 100 yards. There is no way a 177 can compare to the 50 foot pound 25 at 150 or 200 yards. The larger caliber have better BCs and they also have the ability to handle more muzzle velocity. This in turn makes for a better long range weapon.
:hoot:
I don’t know what to say. It’s a question that likely has no correct answer.
How accurate any caliber is depended on how good the shooter is. There is no inherently accurate caliber in airguns. As a rule they are all as accurate as the shooter, and all the high end pcp’s will out shoot the shooter. This is not “as true” with the less expensive guns, or with many springers, due to slight differences in air pressure propelling the projectile. Still, even they are capable of out shooting most shooters. The pcp’s, with their regulators, high end barrels, are simply a different kind of air gun, with different potential.
The end analysis is buy for purpose. If you hunt, get the .25 or .30! If you shoot a lot, get the .177 or the .22, more economical.

I’d say more or less………..

Yep! That’s the Swedish way …
Because of the great Gay population in this Country the future seems kinda .. dark.
Those Morons don´t realize that very soon every ugly Kid they adopt is going to be a Muslim. Then what ? Not all of those Monkeys turn to Sheep fucking and homo sexuality and taken the Swedish “foundness” of War they´ll just give the Country up. Sad but true …
One has to have faith. Can you see mine ?? Vitun Hurrit …
