NEW: FX BOBCAT MK2
Talked to FX via email about the Bobcat MK2 that will allow to external adjusting of Regulator
———–
Yes we have a new Bobcat Mk2.
The difference of the Bobcat and the Bobcat Mk2 is a new lighter tube with
the max pressure of 250bar, regulator standard and manometer upfront (no
copper tube)
They will be available in a week and a half.
Best regards Johan

Does anyone have a picture of MK2 without the stock? Is there that high pressure pipe? Do yo think .25 can be as accurate as .30 at the distance of 100 yards?
So are many Babies in India. 😉
What’s extreme about that ? :o:o
Not a thing, just wonder how the FX .30’s did.

The Bobcat MK2 is “expected” the First week of March…
75 I think ????
And what was the distance there ?? 100 meters ?
Anybody seen pics of the cards shot with belugas at EBR ?
Not bad experience. They just aren’t good enough to have the same price tag as DS or Steyr. Higher even.
I know nothing about 16 J/ 12 fpe guns since i judge them in full power. I’ve owned several Crickets and while this country is littered with FX’s there hasn’t been one that has yet outshot any of those Crickets. Maybe the Cricket is worse in choked 12 fpe stance but it certainly isn’t when shot as intented : at full tilt. It has better reg and less deviation and when the range opens up past 70 meters or so it’ll outshoot the Beluga. The BC reg with its plumbing leaks and causes all kinds of troubles so troublefree they are not.
FX = a good workingman like airgun. Not in a class of Air Arms, Daystate nor Steyr.
i think you have had a bad experience with FX, i have daystates Steyr and air arms that i still own, out of these only my Steyrs are in the same playing field for engineering accuracy and quality of finish, i don’t consider my verminators MK1 & 2 my Bobcat or Royale 200 aesthetically superior but they sure can shoot….. all sub 12 ft lbs though, my cricket lasted a week and i have long since moved my Matador and Leyla ….. just to put it into perspective i had 2 x R10’s and hated those and BSA with a passion but recently bought a Goldstar SE and its a keeper too,
funny fickle world 😀
The FX Tedgun is still a lonely creature in the bullpup world. There are other bullpups on the market with the same, or better, performance and at a more affordable price.
I’m not bashing Ted, or saying the FX Bobwhale is an undesirable pcp. His input was sought and and he gave it. While it has excellent accuracy, plenty of power, a hybrid stock, why pay a premium price for performance and quality you can obtain for hundreds of dollars less? It doesn’t make any sense to me! The Vulcan and Colibri both have mid-line cocking, so that FX advantage is lost. The hybrid “Carbine/Bullpup” design leaves me cold and unexcited. Shorter and lighter bullpups do what I, personally, want from a bullpup. Give up those two primary bullpup functions and you just as well buy a pure carbine and be done with it.
FX is catering to a very limited segment of the bullpup market. This gun is perfect for some shooters, limited in number, but it leaves the vast majority of the market buyers to seek other products at a more affordable price. Even with the new pricing, they are still $150 to $200 dollars too high for what you get. All other features being equal, price always drives market share.
Hoot:
Anyone know if they’ll be selling the Vulcan’s ?
I definitely think all the bitching had an influence on their decision to reduce the prices. I also think the dollars 25% rise in value over the last year has a lot to do with it.
ONE YEAR CHART USD/SEK (SWEDISH KRONA)

2 little to Late….
They’re still highest priced bullpups…. even edguns were on sale for a while at 1500$….
So far both of AOA’S proprietary brands (daystate, fx) are the most expensive bullpups on the market.
EVEN with a 300$ price drop.
They’re sales must be in the dirt. I’m not giving in.
That’s awesome, either our bitching has had an effect, or they’re feeling the pain from a flooded market of bullpups.
Anyone know if they’ll be selling the Vulcan’s ?

I’d say a .25 is more accurate at 100 yards. Not less anyway.
