NOT HAPPY WITH SELPHB VALVE!!!!!
Here is my Selphb valve.
Am I impressed? Am I fuck. After this video I installed the valve and tried to fill. I filled to 2500 psi and tried to release the pressure. Each time I opened the bleed( yes, as quickly as poss’) it all bled out again. Why? Because the oring that seals the tophat is too tight. When you depress the tp, you can feel it rolling the oring over in a ‘click’ type of way. When under pressure, this oring is expanding a little and totally locking the tophat open.
I’m gonna have to get the tp shaved a little to make a decent fit, get the stem replaced and put a smaller return spring in. So for the price of a new valve, all I am actually gonna use of this valve is the valve body and tp(once I modify it to work). What a waste of money and time(including Mam’s who sourced it for me)
Totally gutted.
Try and send it back? After all the problems people have had with getting hold of him etc, I don’t think I’ll bother. I’ll be able to sort it out thanks to Sean and Lang, but why the fuck should I have to?
Let me make this clear. THIS IS NOT A COPY OF A BLODNOB VALVE!! IT IS A POOR ATTEMPT AT BEST. MINE DOES NOT FUNCTION AS IS AND WILL REQUIRE EXTENSIVE WORK TO GET IT GOING.

Replaced the stem and resized the th oring seat by blod, so your valve is as good as one of his own 😉 😎

Just maybe, maybe not, quite so consistant.
Was very happy with my valve (980fps with .22 predators and 12 inch barrel) untill last night. The thing broke down, as happend with others. This is approx. after 1000 shots. Thought it wouldn’t happen to me 😥 .
What now?! Will a condor valve give me the same numbers?

Last time I bled my tank down, i used a dime in the adapter. It cupped it and pressed it in the adapter. It fell right out, but I was sure suprised on how deformed it was.
At no time did I let too much out at once, it took about 15 minutes to bleed the tank.
If you use one, all is good. If you use two, the pressure will come out way too fast and the pressure of the air rushing out will seal the tank to the adaptor, so you just have to wait for it to stop. And it will all come out in about 30 seconds, if that long.
And too much pressure will do that.
DON’T USE MORE THAN ONE PENNY!!!!! 😆
Can we make that a sticky somewhere before someone gets hurt doing it?

Really though I slowly torked the adapter down and not much air was escaping, maybe 75 psi, not much,
however the 1st penny slammed the second and made a nice little pop.
It was your post long ago, maybe you said not to go with 2 pennies, but hell, I am old and not as sharp as I used to be.

How many times have I said not to stack two pennies in the adapter? Haven’t I said it a bunch? I’m pretty sure I’ve said it a bunch.

I guess I have missed all that has happened on here lately, my daughter is shooting on the trap team here, i’m the coach I have really been concentrating on that lately.. want to get stressed out.. have 20 kids going in all directions waving a 12 gauge around and when you get home all you can think of is a nice cold BEER..haha.. so Big Bad Brad the super machinist has put out a bunch of defective parts and has now disappeared..?? It was just something about that guy that never did sit well with me..
