Seriously Fudd, I do have Sniper71 contact info. He told me that he makes a short specific moderator. Email him then buy a short.
Are you saying you’re going to make your R3 Standard into a R3 Short? I don’t have the machinery, funds or balls to hack up a Edgun. Cutting the reservoir is pretty ballsy. Chances of getting a replacement air tube is NONE.
Btw, does anyone have an R3M Short they want to sell me so I can take some measurements? :biggrinn:

At what ever length you want.
Pretty easy…. just cut and thread breach end … and the shroud to match …. also the airtube… but that’s not bad either

I did a barrel for endo’s r3 and it came out pretty snazzy…. (didn’t shorten it just a replace)
It looks alright Keyser but he did hack off the end of the scope rail to fit his design. I don’t know if I would want to do that since it would limit scope mounting and eye relief.

Fudd, I found the shorty with the moderator you want. I have the maker’s contact information. We were supposed to do business together but he went dark so I wouldn’t send him money if I were you. If you want Roman’s email (the maker of this can) I’ll PM it to you.

Like oak said, I just want to see innovative products made. I don’t have the means or deep pockets to make these things but got plenty of feasible ideas. Before you guys get your panties in a bunch, I doubt Ed will implement any of these ideas anytime soon or at all. All I can do like some others is wait and dream.
The moderator he has in the video i like better than the ones in the Pic.
i don’t like the slope … id rather have the back flat. i think it looks better.
Glad ed has started communicating again. I love my R3 just want it a little quieter without adding length.

As long as this moderators is as effective as Donnies or more effective without adding legth I am in. However I must compliment the Farmer for trying to improve upon the design. The PCP Airgun Business has mainly be created out of some guys garage. INNOVATION IS KING!!!
I will also agree with Soze if Ed changes it mid stream we may never see this or it will take a while to get the finished product in the USA. I am hoping to have a moderator on my gun mid November. And the Uncle has just ate too many bedingleberries in his life to understand what is really going on here.

Ok I’ll do mine at some point and post results…
Ed’s airtube design is different than normal… he uses screws to secure rather than threading. So it’s not so bad.
Besides it’s only metal right ?? Let’s see what happens…
