Same design as the tarantula. lets say that Eds tube I.d. Is 1.5 inches. I’m guessing here because I don’t know the exact measurements or fastener size and I’m not home to measure them. But let’s exaggerate them for the sake of safety. That makes the end cap surface area 5.551 inches. So 220 bar is 3190 psi. That means the end cap is experiencing 17,712 pounds of force. Now like I said I don’t know the bolt size and I know it’s metric but let’s use a .250″ bolt. Which is slightly smaller in diameter. It’s allowable shear force meaning with its safety factor is roughly 7,500 lbs. with 3 screws that’s 22,500 lbs of allowable force. I think we’re safe. :ugeekn:

No kidding with high air pressure components !

Once the endcap of an airtube came off like a bullet and almost killed a person.

The person suffered serious injuries and needed months of hospital care.

I don’t know if anybody saw the pictures on the net but they were very disturbing.

Maybe Ed’s design is even safer than the standard ones but it would be good to know.

You do that! Ed is an idiot – an un trusteable like. You´ll probably never get things he promises.
There will always be broken Bridges, hostile take over of the Russia – or Putin.Or Ed.to wait for parts , or Guns , you´ve paid for months ago . “You´ll get them soon”. That hasn´t work to his favor in Western Countries – where we want things happen now – or at least when promised.

Haha, that’s awesome! I do agree that Ed’s air tube design is simplistic by not using threaded ends. I’m kinda surprised more manufacturers don’t use the same idea.
