Q:

OIL,OIL, TOIL and trouble

This oil spill in the gulf has been going on for about one month now.

This is going to reach catastropic proportions if it hasnt already .

I thought some of the guys on here could put thier evil genius 😈 to good use .

does anyone have any good or bad ideas that they think might slow down or stop this ??

Im no engineer , but first I would remove BP and and anyone else involved from the picture .

As they have a certain amount of time money and may pose a conflict of interest in getting this done quickly.

I dunno, if thats true or not , but lets start new .

Ok My idea , (maybe it wouldnt work , I dunno ) would be to dump 30 or 40 cargo ships full of gravel and 1 ton blocks of stone . just keep dumping till it stops .

In an attempt to smother it . then apply some some type of concrete to seal it .

re drill (I know) next to it, or tap it . to remove pressure .

Im no engineer man , just shooting it out there to you evil geniuses who might be able to springboard off that . I know some of you fucks are clever enough to get it done

whats your ideas ? Cause BP doesnt have any .

waiting till the well runs dry (literaly) isnt an option .

This shit is just crazy .

Hold over,

You gripe about all these hard working BP exec’s just trying to save you a buck at the gas station!

Who you going to bitch at next the tabacco industry?

All this griping and you will be the first guy to punch some poor guy out at a gas station over a nicotine fix….

Oh sorry I forgot, that was you.

Heheheheh

Here’s a kool oil cleaning video using hay.

http://www.wimp.com/solutionoil/

Might not be the whole solution , but definitely a tool in the toolbox

Kevin Costner had invested millions of his own money in centrafugal clean up machines that can seperate oil from water :

I think there might be some hope with this clean up 🙂

I absolutely agree synopsys. The problem is that we have been
trained/brainwashed to think that money can solve anything and in this case
it will not…. I agree that BP should belong to America now and all of it’s
assets should be used to subsidize the losses that will be incurred but, BP
does not have enough money to make this problem go away… The oil is here
to stay and there is nothing anyone can do about it…. We will just have to
learn to live with it and try to figure out how to take advantage of it if
that is even possible…. We needed something to stimulate the economy
right? Well like it or not, here it is… This should create jobs and send a
flood of equity into the economy… Best case scenario is that they get the
well under control and that the well produces enough crude to make us
independent of crude imports…I don’t see a problem with a government
owning and operating an oil well but, our government couldn’t run a 7/11
so we are schit out of luck there too… Just wait until this oil starts
showing up on the beaches overseas…

Amazing a teacher at an Ivy league school has a run in with the cops and Obama is all over it.

BP pukes a few million possibly billion gallons of oil into the ocean and nothing… I guess the USGov ok’d the whole operation knowing the data was faked. It’s hrad to make threats when your a coconspirator and everyone knows it…

It would sure be neat to know the names of the asshats that signed the EIRs and approved the operation… What do you want to bet they have a few million and a huge house somewhere out of the country…

BP should lose everything they have over this and it should be used to fix all the issues this is going to create… Oil companies should come away from this with the fear of god in them if they EVER fuck up again.

This is going to make the Exxon Valdez look like a coffee cup spilled in Lake Michigan… 😯

Here’s what Im envisioning . And maybe Im wrong , but these guys have had over a month with only two or three attempts.

Im seeing experts, engineers, and specialists and black boards discussing different possible ways to shut it down defined by the parameters set forth by “” the company””

Or ideas or solutions that were sent upstairs for approval and kicked back because of cost and feasibility to “”the company””

executives making decisions based on cost .

I truly think that the loss of profits they are facing every hour has them
doing everything possible to get the well under control… I just fear that
there will be nothing they can do about it…. I think they are taking
another stab at it on Tuesday so we will see how that works out….

I say we dump the politicians in anyway . So people can see at least We made the effort . 😛

I’m beginning to fear that this going to be catastrophic .

hope you like your fish blackened. 😯

Ummmmmmmm We need some real leadership on this problem like yesterday .

Id give BP and friends 36 hours to plug the well or thier going to fucking jail and whatever else we might legaly do to them .

And the Army corps of engineers and and the next oil company can give it whack .

Maybe if we fined them a million dollars an hour it might motivated them to see how really important this thing is .

Dumping politicians on the well would not work. Shit floats….lol

“I’d like to clarify about the size of this oil field.
Reports are that the industry has known about this incredibly vast oil field in the gulf since 1988 and that reportedly, they had said they where more worried about running out of oxygen to burn than oil at that time.
The feild BP drilled into isand gas under the gulf.
It’s perhaps the largest oil discovery in the world, including Saudi Arabia.

No technology to handle that exists NOW, and the Deepwater Horizon had well casing technology rated at 20,000 LBS/SQ IN.

Now you tell me who is the dummy here?

Another thing.

The well was proclaimed as being capable of

Sounds like greed is filling up the Gulf… 😯

22,500 square miles of oil !!!

Just how fucking bad is that?

200,000+ barrels a day on the Deepwater Horizon website.”

quote :

The field was undrillable because it was known the pressure inside was at 170,000 PSI or more and no technology existed to handle that.

So they knew ……Great .

Now let me guess Soon they will run out of disperants , because they cant produce enough to keep up.

I still think it could work. Ive seen these things up close they look like the death star at night . just unbeliveably huuuuuuuuge. and those are semi containers on there. fillabout 30-40 ships and load those puppys up with gravel and politicans and oil exsecutives , we might have a shot . it just could work!! 😆

The sky is the limit with this thing… It is like drilling into a volcano… There is
no telling how long it will blow or how much volume is coming out of it….
There is another risk not mentioned… The gas that is rising to the top lowers
the buoyancy of the water and could sink anything that goes through that
column of gas…… It will definitely be interesting to see how it finally (if ever)
gets capped..

Ah so this is how they where gonna get the troops out!

Just got my tank filled and a couple the scuba shop folks just went down to Florida for a dive. This is going to affect a whole lot of businesses.
