Hey Charlie,

I’ll post some groups soon been busy with my Veteran.
Had some the otherday but didn’t want to retrieve them in the rain.

Seems so far to be as accurate as my Cricket 177 cal compact.

Hi Greg,

Good work on your lelya. But no everyone can fix it. How’s your baby shot? any group at 50 yards?

Here is .177 multi-shot.
Edgun Lelya .177

its very unique bullpup, smallest one

i have 1x in 177 old version sold, i wish i kept that one

and now i have new version in .22, i was about to sell it out because blowback/puff, i dont know about .20 but in .22 i get scare of putting my check into it because of the blowback/puff

but now i have solve that problem by getting multishot kit

very easy to install, its more fun now

Hey mughram long time ……..
I have many muti-shots to shoot from and I like my new Lelya 20 cal to stay a single loader.

On the blowback/puff did you check to see if you had a sharp inlet on the probe main entry ?
When cocking it was damaging/cutting the pellet probe O-ring(s) before pulling the trigger and causing it to leak with blowback.
If someone finds the pellet probe O-ring inside of the back of the receiver bottom, I’d suspect this cause even more so.

I roundout/over the sharp edges and polished it to shine, and no more blowback/puff ever since !

thanks for info

not interest in single shot anymore … multi-shot more fun for me 🙂

Lol. I will absolutely shoot the gun as it arrived and immediately put some lead over my chrony first and if there is no issues then I’ll leave well enough alone. The previous owner is a regular member on the forums and the gun was described as “Like New” without any issues and I usually try to give people the benefit of the doubt so hopefully that mailman shows up here anytime now with my Lelya,Huma reg and a Money Order!!! Results to follow……

Yes, Greg I purchased it off of an add that was posted a couple weeks back on AGN and the Yellow Classifieds. I’ll be very observant as to the issue you have mentioned pertaining to the o-ring being cut or dislodged by the breech opening. Could you give me some specific info on how I should go about doing the same as you did? What tools did you use ? I definitely wouldn’t want to remove to much metal. Anyway thanks again for the solid advice, it’s pretty cool to see another member was able to fix his Lelya issue with your knowledge and that is why TalonTunes forum is the go to place for all my Bullpup and eastern European gun info.

I see … don’t get paranoid reading my thread fixes !
I’m weird and get weirder if I start to drink ….. 😉

First off don’t do anything to it, just shoot the gun ………. it is in shootable condition right ?
There is no need to fix something that ain’t broke !
Handle problem if they arrive, one at a time and be patient.

Questions:
Did he disclose the history of the gun, if so what did he do to it ?
Is he the original owner ?
Any presently known issues(s) with the gun, wtf did he sell it ?

.

The regulator on my Lelya is factory set to 130 bar.
The HST is set balls to the wall and thinking the reg is set a bit to high and might reduce it to gain some shots ?

But, IDK yet if this will cause a secondary Blowback type issue to occur where the pellet bolt ejects back out.
Where the first pellet probe O-ring gets blown halfway off the probe and jams into the loading breech hole or blow off completely.
Maybe with no signs of damage even or making the hard goodbye out the barrel ?

I do believe this issue is much less occurring, rare compared to the first.

It’s just a theory I have ………. not all that sure …… yet.

But I’m going to have to do that later, have many AG projects going on at this moment ……..

Greg,

Since I saw your post about the blowback issue I had been meaning to give it a try. I have owned the Leyla 20 cal for approximately two years now and have always had this issue. Today with some time on my hands I implemented your keen observation pertaining the probe entry hole. Well it worked, I too no longer have to slap the receiver closed and now have the option of closing it normally. Thank you very much for sharing your thought on this. I really appreciate it!

And I do share your CAUTION on the blowback lever spring. What I do when removing the probe assembly is keep pressure on the lever and once the assembly is extracted I sleeve the end with an oring to hold it together while I conduct what I need to do. Hence, never releasing the spring from the assembly.

No problem, thank you very much there Rob !
Most fuckers won’t thank they just lurk and take and take ……….

Thanks for the spring link, I’d like to order some later I know me I’ll lose it permanently one day soon …. lost and found it 3 x already.

Also -x356b tightened the screw by an additional 1/8 turn CW, but I just added 1/16 turn after the click and it works fine there too.
I do a lot of pesting and need to keep it quiet not to scare and don’t like to slap it close …….. :winkn:
