Q:

Poor quality Cricket barrels

Hi,

We have noticed in Poland that our Crickets have poor quality thread in the barrel. The thread is damaged in the choke section – 2-3 cm starting from the muzzle. The rest of the thread is crystal clear.

Here are some pictures:

Multiple Crickets are affected. This is riddiculus for me.

Guys, please paste your photos. You should remove the silencer and then you can use your mobile phone’s camera LED that is capable of producing strong light. The light should be shed in the loading port. Then you can look into the muzzle. You may be shocked :angrymob:

The Crickets with numbers 22142xxx can be affected.

Some guys sent it back to KalibrGun. After 1 to 2 months of waiting they received the same ugly barrels. All in all the seller decided to give them their money back.

Can someone paste a photo of proper KalibrGun barrel thread – starting from the muzzle? Do correct barrels in Crickets exist? I am not talking about accuracy. Even with such deformed thread Cricket was quite accurate.

My barrel is so. My serial number is 0000443. πŸ™„ πŸ™„ πŸ™„

As Ville said, send it back if it is an issue (Don’t have the knowledge to judge or understand what it could be)

Let’s check the warranty and customer service department at Kalibrgun.

Just curious to know how the gun shots with these barrels.

Have you guys in Poland noticed if this is caliber related?

+ 1 !!
If there are several of these Barrels out there it’s in Kalibrgun’s immediate interrest to dive into the issue and correct it.
That is not how it should look like so contact KalibrGun.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2. This POS iPhone sucks though …

It looks like stress relief from machining the threaded section. But am not shure.

A lot of Polish guys have the same problem. I’m not alone.
Can someone paste a photo of the barrel’s thread? Should the choke be visible?

ThatΒ΄s bad ! And unacceptable. Send it back for warranty replacement.

I checked mine also, looks and shoots GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! :biggrinn: Sorry to hear yours isn’t shooter…

Given the Cricket barrels are cold hammer forged and made with a mandrel the direction of those lines seem very strange. Something must be inserted in the barrel later on and then spun????

Please paste your photo. You may be shocked, as I mentioned.

It looks strange πŸ˜•
