The USA is short on quality factory guns, but full blown customs can be had for substantially less than high end euro guns. The coopers are about the only game in town for factory rifle. They shoot so well that they’ve been banned from factory class in a regional match that’s held annually in my neck of the woods. Now it’s a toss up between select savage large shank target rifles in 6BR and A1 sako’s chambered in .22 and or 6ppc.
Boyish charm ? 🙂 🙂 No details except the fact that the Impotent is THE best thing to hit the AG world since JSB pellets.

I’ve been Fuxing around with a couple of Crickets the last week or so and i can only say this: Easy, no nonsense and understandable pieces to work on. Not seen a FX that way. My Son-in -Law and i Fuxed around with his Verminator just to be able to get a regulator into it. What a mess!
Why make things soooo complicated ? To be able to service them afterwards – for payment or what’s the reason? Don’t tell me it’s the absolute quality on these things since there seems to be very little of it. The tube in the reg set for that Verm was so badly soldered it broke when the necessary bending was half way.
I know Fred will think otherwise but it was a joke. After i re-soldered it the thing was somewhat useable.
Somewhat since the consistency with the reg is still sub-par compared to the East European offerings. 🙁
I’m tempted to go and buy a Talon and really test one against any FX. Not too many of those around here. I start to wonder if a TA will beat the venerable FX. Don’t get me wrong but in the World of Guns i consider the European craftmanship to easily beat that of American. No offense .. 😉

I was standing talking to the owners of Ataman and I overheard Pyramyd air telling them things they wanted to change. They were nice feeling.

After hearing all this problems with the Impact, i have decided to hold my deposit for a few months till FX gets this problems solved, i really wanted this gun but i dont want to throw another $2000 to the trash again.
If i’m getting one ? Not that i know of .. 😉

I am hoping to have my Silver Version this week. I currently have the only Impact in the UK that I know of.

These coil gauges are to inaccurate for this type of gun and other than the size which is nice is about it that it unfortunately. My gauges are between 25-50 bars off. My fill gauge is pegged when I fill her all the way up and to get any type of reading is about impossible to get good calculations. I truly have no idea how much the regulator gauge is off other than it sits around 150 bars when to my knowledge it is factory set to 140bars.
Now I know these small gauges are off by at least 10% in the middle where they are most accurate so when they are pegged I can only imagine what the error rate could be.
