Nice! I been waiting for FX to send me one those for the past 1-2 months! πŸ™‚ I hope to see it in my mail soon!! yeah

Sales might be hurting. Ted actually published a video on the Impact.

Received my mil spec rail from FX today

FX has been trying to make a interchangeable barrel system for a while. I owned an FX Elite that allowed for barrel changes and a Talon SS with multiple barrels but changing them out wasn’t conveniently easy. If FX can make it easy changing barrels, probes, and adjusting the Power, I might to buy one with a .177 and a .25. That way I’d have my backyard tree rat gun in .177 and a .25 for some longer range shooting.

I don’t know if FX reads this forum, but if they do please fix this gun. Get rid of the interchangeable barrels, put a real moderator on the gun and equip the gun with a 20 MOA picatinny rail.

I too would like to hear Ronin’s thoughts.

what do you want from interchangable barrels?
because of that function gun is so popular.

I think there is room for both versions. If do get one I will most likely buy one barrel, the 30. I have no interest in tuning my gun every time I switch calibers. I want a grab and go gun. I have spent enough time tinkering with airguns in my life. I just want to shoot.

Thx for your update.

It is popular with its interchangeable barrels but for me the compact size able to be torn down for travel purposes which allows me of course have 2 calibers or more when doing so. Yes this gun is not for everyone i will say that.

Unfortunately, I have yet been able to put a full tin of pellets through this rifle yet do to weather, holidays and every day family life. I am slowly sneaking range time.

What I can say:
– is that I can get consistent 3/8″ – 1/2″ 5 shot groups with it at 50yards when I do my part.
– .25 caliber Impact at 880-900fps is as quite as my .22 Cricket with NC full set-up.
– no leaks so far
– Not a Mil-Spec picatinny rail (but FX is fixing that for the entire line and should be sending me a new rail via mail direct from sweden)
– Small magazines that AOA sent me (for what ever reason) work but you better off taking out the small O-ring or you will loose them. I have not had any problem with them while shooting prone or bench. Though I can’t say that if your walking in the field on how they will perform as of yet. (AOA is suppose to send me the FX Impact magazine when they get them in with that its been a month and nothing in the mail as of yet I will give them until Feb before I call).
– I have NOT done a complete Shot string yet but I don’t think you will get 100 good shots as they have listed at least not at 900fps with JSB Exact 24.

FX follows this forum very closely. Trust me on that one .. πŸ˜‰

Ronin001: its been over a month you and your Impact have been together what are your thoughts now?

Thank you

When I hear a “small puff of air” it means I shit myself…..

quote Parrots:

I have a quick question please.

This would be my first rifle with removable bottle.

Can i remove the bottle while it’s full of air or do i need to empty it of air before i remove it.

Thank you.

That should work just fine. You’ll get a small puff of air just when it lets go so don’t piss on yourself when that happens. πŸ˜‰

YES you can remove the bottle that is full of air.
