Looks pretty legit to me….. Now i know a little more than the average Airgunner . But think of it this way. FX just whipped up this new gun the wildcat from the ground up. AOA priced it at 1300$ the bobcat when it came out was a rifle that they already refined. they just had to do a stock and a trigger/scope rail…… and it was priced at 2k$

something don’t add up there.

The wildcat had to go through the drawing board planning and whatever else . all new drawings. doesn’t appear to be much anything re used from the other guns. …..

so the only thing i can make out of it. AOA has been gouging us for years. (not to mention the price indifferences from over seas.) a lot of us have known this and we couldn’t do anything but pay the high prices …. then theres those that refuse to believe.

Honestly if it wasn’t for a few Key players in the UPROAR…. things today might be quite different. The wildcat would probably be at around the 2200$ and the Impact would be a 3000$ gun.

AOA has been fucking us long enough…. the Money ran deep and blinded (still does) many of us.

Lets face it. In the end the airgunner sets the price…… AOA is only gonna sit on guns for so long then they will have to adjust the price. or if they don’t buy from FX …. FX will find some that will. Quite easy concept.

Fx makes a good product and they have answered the Americans call. You better believe AOA is gonna take advantage of the opportunity to ram it up our asses. :angrymob:

I noticed the CF bottle is made by Inocom, a Korean brand. It’s a bit odd seeing that on a European gun.

That is because that is who makes those bottles. and they probably have a pattent on them. Raw, daystate, FX, evanix They all get them from the same place.
about 2 years ago…. the only one that used them was Evanix. I hunted high and low for them. and it always pointed back to Inocom. I don’t think there are any other that make that particular bottle…. Although i may be wrong. but i haven’t been able to find them elsewhere.

FX Impact- I think this is going to be my next gun. I hope the price is under below 2000 dollars and not something in the Daystate price range.

I also like the wildcat, but they are too similar to my edguns to justify buying one. I may reconsider depending on the actual price of the Impact. One other important factor to me is consistency. If the wildcat reg, as well as the Impact reg, are close to the performances of the edguns, kalibrs, etc.. IMO, they are going to be a hit. I use to own an Indepedence and 400. The quality is great.

I could see AOA marking them up. But with the recent upheaval of new pricing information, they may be forced to take a strong look at their current business model. If the wildcat pricing is any indication, they are headed in the right direction. If they really bought their current fx stock distributor cost from fx, they maybe able to lower their current fx stock prices and attract new customers. It seems they spend a lot on advertising, but how hard can it be to make new videos. They still have that old website. Sure they have a storefront. But it is in Arizona not in California where property prices are insane. Shoot, Bob at airventure airguns in bellflower, ca ran (or stills runs?) a storefront. I’m just trying to convince myself that AOA will consider their current and potential customers and stop with the crazy price gouging. I base my opinion on the FX distributor price list posted on the yellow. If it’s fake, then I have no point.

I think I like that WC. I already have a BC and Cricket both in .22. I may need a .25 though….. πŸ˜€

Dang !!!! FX is coming out with some serious sweetness πŸ™‚ …that video was cool >

There is soooo much new awesome stuff coming out. Did you see the Royal 400/500s in the background had carbon fiber bottles???

Ok, something that surprised me, just saw Giles’ video on Youtube:

The impact is a take down rifle: main body, barrel, silencer, bottle and optics.
Didn’t expect that…
Cheers

They did indeed and actually deserve credit for that. Listen to the buying public is the Key …

The Impact looks hideous though but it has good feats – if it works as intented.

Mr ville…..

With the beating they have been taking about the beloved BALUGA
….. they had to do something..

That impact is just nasty!!!!! It’s about time they went picatinnny!

They listened to constructive criticism, instead of getting all defensive. I wish I could do that. πŸ˜†

I bet it would look even better if they replaced the bottle with a large diameter tube that looks like a Cricket reservoir.. With the manometer on the end. Same length as the bottle so it stops right before the ldc on the end of the barrel.

I agree, I am loving this gun right now, but would like to see it with a large tube also. I wonder about frame flex, looks to me like that could be a serious issue, especially if it is shouldered heavily.

I like that quite a bit. Looks like they’ve been paying attention to the gripes and suggestions about other BP guns to me.

I’m too new to really understand the issues behind AoA and FX, but that’s looking like a pretty solid offering if the price isn’t prohibitive.

I don’t want to jinx a good price… BUT, I believe the price will be in $2000-2400 range. If you think about it… It will have interchangeable barrels from .177 to .30 with the speed adjuster with 5 adjustments and external regulator adjuster… Yeah 2000 at least then the question what will the price be for the different caliber combo (port/barrel) $200-300…. Or it could be $1300-1600 for gun and $500 for each caliber barrel/port combo.
