R3M /R3 Review and Performance .WoW

Gentlemen;

First of all i want to apologize to Mr. Eduard and all of you, because i brought you incorrect info regarding the loudness of the new R3M, i told you that it is a little bit louder than my M-Rod, but it is not like this,

Okay, let talk about the loudness, what did you say? loud? Hey Hemn what sound are you talking about? 😯 guys if the Condor sound level is #5 and M-Rod is #2 then the new R3M is 0.75 😯 😯 on my point of view, because it is really really quite, yesterday when i did some practice in my fathers backyard all the sparrows and doves or even all birds they were on their position near at me on the trees when i was trying to do some chrony test, never moved and flied, believe me guys,
when i said that R3M is a little bit louder i was in my bed room 😯 😯 when i tried three dry fire,

Eduard you are correct as you told me dry fire is usually louder than fire with pellets …. sorry again…..

it is really really nice rifle and quite also more powerful than the R3,

guys you will be surprised when you see the below strings of the new R3M, here we go……………………………………….

Date Oct 12th 2013,
Edgun Matador R3M, .22 cal, starting pressure was 220 bar as mentioned in the manual.
Pellet; JSB 18.13gr

Eduard please tell me am i sick or these fps are correct ?

Shot# FPS

1 – error
2 – error
3 – 1012 the muzzle was near from the chrony about 50cm the i put the chrony after this shot 60cm away from the muzzle.
4 – dry fire by mistake
5 – 1003
6 – 1003
7 – 1003
8 – 1004
9 – 1005
10 – 1001
11 – 1003 Pressure was 200 bar
12 – 1009
13 – 999.5
14 – 1002
15 – 1001
16 – 1000
17 – 1004
18 – 999.7
19 – 998
20 – 1006 Pressure was 185 bar
21 – 1007
22 – 1003
23 – 1000

26 – 1002
27 – 1000

29 – 998.1
30 – 999 Pressure was 172 bar
31 – 1002
32 – 998.2
33 – 993.7
34 – 994.9 my place was very very bad for testing my gun so, i had to pull the gun toward me in order to get the perfect position for aiming the target, so, i believe those shots under 999fps occurred because of that.
35 – 995.9
36 – 999
37 – 997
38 – 999
39 – 999.2
40 – 997.9 Pressure was 155 bar
41 – 1011
42 – 997.1
43 – error
44 – error
45 – error
46 – error
47 – error
48 – Fucking error
49 – Fucking error
50 – Fucking error i believe due to the sun set the chrony wasn’t able to read. the last pressure was 145 bar

The average of the total of 39 shots = 1001.2 fps. ( i got the fps of 39 shot that is why i am calculating only 39)

the accuracy is very good out of 40 mtr for me ( since i am a new one to Bullpup and such a high quality of the gun )

Dear Sir Ville; when you read my review you will understand that there are a huge difference between R3 and R3M.

Dear Trygve; please go back to your home and let Mr. Martti ship your new R3M.

I will post the pics of the targets latter…..

Hope other guys who got their R3M share the new info ……………………

Hi Hemn,
Two good reasons…
IĀ“m back to work in Angola and my R3M is in pieces waiting for a replacement hammer assy that I don’t think is up to specs.

Jack

Dear Jetboy;

Thanks, ho about your R3M? have you tested it yet? why you don’t post some pics?

My Dear Uncle H 😯 😯 T;

Thanks & appreciate your kind advices always, that is very nice that i have you here to advice me and encourage me always…. i really like you… šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€

quote Hoot:

My dear Hemn….

Please don’t concern yourself with those early results. You will get better as time and experience allows, and the bullpup itself has to break in properly.

Within a few months, you will be shooting groups half that size at twice that range….at least that was my experience! Chances are good that you are a better
shot than me.

Kind regards,
Uncle H 😯 😯 t

Dear hacampbell1360;

Thanks a tons for your Congrats, you are my brother abroad, I really want to give the accurate and correct info about my Edgun to whom it may concern (hahaha, we are in the office šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€ )

yes, i did with measuring rope, i have one 30mtr, and can measure the distances very well.

I did see your scope :8: :8: :8: , that was one of my dream scopes, please post some pics with different distances, actually i don’t know how to buy one of these, as i explained before, i believe the security in the airport when they will see this scope come to my address or any address, they will hang me up, i have to think of the way for this, or at least i have to buy a range finder.

i like your set, congrats.

Hi Hemn M,

Did I congratulate you on your new Edgun? Congrats my friend. Now I did. I guess better late than never. :8:

It takes a real man to apologize in public. You are a man with character my friend. No shame at all.

By the way, how did you measure the distance? With measuring stick? A rope? Or a laser like most of us?

I have a scope with built in laser to check distance, maybe I will send you picture, here it is.

Guys;

These are some accuracy tests, before dropping down the velocity and after.

these are my first testing of my Bullpup Edgun Matador R3M .22cal, 35mtr away, the power was 1010 fps.
edit; These groups were ten shots for each one.

Picture# 1

this is one bad test with higher velocity;
Picture# 2

this one is not good also; 30 mrt
Picture# 3

my best group with 931 fps, even the distance is almost 70 mtr, it is less than 1cm, i shot 5 the center hole is 4 pellets, the flier one i believe because of the damaged skirts, one of my friend helped me to reload the mags that day, i think he didn’t check the skirts. what do you think guys? ā“ ā“

Edit; Guys, i don’t like to post wrong infos, so i am so sorry, yesterday i measured the distance it was 65mtr perfectly, not 70 mtr. sorry guys, but the most important is to be very frank with you, so, apologizing is not a shame for me.

Picture# 4

i will do some other tests when i have time.

Edgun Matador, R3M, .22cal, Power I didn’t checked from that day which i adjusted to 931 fps, as of now i don’t know whether is is the same or not?
distance 65 mtr (72 yards) or 50 mtr (55yards).

if i shoot and wind is not blowing, then i can shot like this or i will try better.

ThatĀ“s nice! The first one at 65 yr. is really something. Nice shooting, Hemn! Almost like what i do with my little “rimfire-that-could”. Almost …

I owned a Boss, paid $2300 for it and I was happy to get $1550 for it 11 months later. It shot very well, around what my Matadors shot. On a given day, it would be heads up as to what shot best.

I have a FX Royale 400, 22 cal that I gave $1950 for and I haven’t had any takers at $1250.

I am done with FX air guns. No way in hell do they come close to the build quality, fit and finish and ease of service to any Edgun that I have owned. I feel that I could drive nails with my Edguns; I have struggled to keep air in the 2 FX air guns that I have owned.

I don’t see another FX gun in my future.

Cmon; China and the Philippines have come up with better looking bull pups!

2 years ago, at AOA’s extreme bench rest shoot; a guy showed Fredrick, the FX owner, his FX Royale bullpup conversion. Fredrick said that bull pups were ugly and that FX would never make one.

It turns out that Fredrick was wrong, he made one and: if he thought that bull pups were ugly, he tried his best to make the ugliest one available!

In all fairness, I do have to say that Fredrick succeded with the Bobcat, it is the fucking ugliest air gun that I have ever seen!

Just my 2 cents that doesn’t amount to anything.

You, Sir, are not just an animal lover but also an Oracle of wisdom. IĀ“ve tried and tried and tried , untill thereĀ“s been nothing left but trial , to preach the Gospel of the ugliness of that gun and the fact that FXĀ“s are overrated on that side of the Pond. Maybe theyĀ“ll listen to you since youĀ“re being an American and all. They sure didnĀ“t listen to me until it was too late and someone bought one of these Fuckly attempts to make a Bullpup that was never to be made in the first place …

How is this #$&% able to say the Edgun is the bullpup of choice in his prior post w/o owning one according to his own twisted logic?

Ugly bobcats can make them bitter. A good reason not to buy one.

Hemn,

not sure if you remember commenting on my post here:-

But how were you able to tell me how amazing the Edgun was compared to the Bobcat, when you didn’t even own one?

And it’s clear from your post, you’re as new to the Edgun as I am to the Bobcat…

Stop giving bad advice, you’re making an idiot of yourself!

Kurt

Hi Hemm, I don’t own either gun. What do you think of the bobcat?

WTF? I don’t own a Bobcat – nor will i ever – but i’m perfectly able to comment on its fugly appearances. Disgusting …
