Received my "Knock-off" Atlas Bipod today !
Got the Atlas-copy/knock-off/whatever Bipod today. I haven´t hold an original Atlas in my hand so i don´t know exactly how it feels and so but this one looks exactly like it does on those Greenbase pics and is a well made piece as it seems. Definitely worth the price. As i said before i only have good experience with Greenbase (have bought loads of stuff from them in more than a dozen occasion) and the Bipod in question is as described and well worth those few bux it cost.

I guess there is a slim chance my GB order could arrive today. I am anxious now – especially for the green laser flashlight and also the straight green laser.
Tested the much debated knock-off the first time today (although i´ve had it for a while i haven´t had the time/interrest to test it before) at the range and i think it´s great value for the money. It´s far better than the UTG or Harris clones people usually have on their airguns and i´ll order one more of these next time i buy stuff from Greenbase.
Sure it needs little Loctite here and there and so on but it´s , IMO , definitely worth its price. The original costs 550$ in Sweden compared to 45$ incl. the freight for the knock-off. There´s no way in hell the original is twelve times better than the GB piece so i´m happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend one. Invest half an hour of your valuable time to take it apart,lube it, torque the screws and connections correctly and Loctite the needed parts and it´ll work well enough for most. End of story …
P.S That “licensed” Atlas copy seems to be worse than this unlicensed, outlawed and banned piece.

Looking at the reviews so far, it seems to me that the biggest drawback with the Knock-off Atlas is the TILT feature. The GB atlas costs USD50 or less, and for USD200 more, that feature is available with the original Atlas. 🙂
I’ve been slammed at work but do have the part. Initial inspection it looks a lot like original(from arms length with squinty eyes).
Even has “Atlas Bipod Patented” stamped on base although upside down. The thumb screw quick release base is double spring loaded and works simple enough(looks solid and mounts to rail solid). I have bolt on Atlas model as I rarely remove mine.
The leg collars are flared on bottom like original and being knurling is inverted instead of raised will help in adjustment.
Leg bolts were so tight I could barely move them but a slight turn and now pivot nicely front to back fine. The push adjustment pin is a slightly looser fit and wobbles a bit more through leg than original. The notched adjustment plate is thinner and grooves are not concentric like original but close enough to function adequately but with a touch more play. The plate is also not flat(teeth bent over),see pic.
Feet fit like original but not as good ball detent.
Biggest difference is with ball head as pointed out on other. This one is just like other clone and in order to have any stability must be tightened down enough to not flop around which case it pans side to side but no ability to swivel for level shooting. Even when loosend as far as I can by hand I only get a couple degrees total swivel.
Overall tooling is not a refined,grooves in legs could use slight deburring.
The finish is no where near the original. Just cycling the leg has already started to wear coating in grooves and on legs as bearing ride up and down as well as already worn on QR. My Atlas doesn’t even have a scratch and its been on and over everything.
Honestly for the $50 its a very good product due to leg adjustability and ability to pan. The biggest downfall is the pivot joint. Loosing the ability to fine tune leveling of gun on uneven terrain for long shots is very important. We will see how the finish holds up over tome as well. It should be fine for bench or plinking.
For the record I personally would only buy original for my uses.

Just looking at pics there is a difference in the copies. Be interesting to see how it compares to real deal and your guys GB version.
I ordered mine from the place Sir Ville ordered his, but that unit has the quick release lever, which I find convenient when breaking the Cricket accessories down and placing them into the holding pocket on my gun case.
The one in your post shows a thumb screw knob, or some such, to put it off/on. The quick release is arthritic-friendly. That means a lot to me.
When mine arrives, I’ll show you what it has, and attempt to give an objective opinion. Quite frankly, a 6-9″ regular bipod, with quick a release lever would work just as well, but why not give the piece a try. I can always trade it with one of the young bucks here on the forum for a Harris.

Mine was delivered today and I’ll pick up from office tomorrow for a thorough once over compared to the real deal before field testing.
