Is anyone using a regulator on thier bottle with positive results?….
What pressure is the regulator set at if you are using one?…
What is the advantage?

Didn’t run the numbers GTBJ….Just looking at the groups…I was tired of just shooting shots into the pellet trap and it was cloudy so it would have been a pain to try to run them across the chronny…I will run some strings tonight to see where I am FPS wise…..
Accuracy looks good so I am pleased….I had a couple high and low flyers but only like 3 in 40 shots…I can put up with that…I am not sure if it was the oil on the washers or turning the PW to max…I think it was the latter….
what kind of numbers were you getting, did the reg settle down and start producing some consisity?
Last target of the day…..
I was trying to see how many shots it would take to hit the dot…
Once I hit the dot or it looked like I hit the dot, I would move on to the next one.
Except for
the top right..I gave up on that one because I couldn’t tell where
the shots where hitting anymore….
I thought I had hit the bottom 2 but close enough…
I am happy with the consistancy ..I think the only
inconsistant thing left now is me…..I’ll work on that tomorrow…
Groups look pretty good to me.
TESTING is officially complete……2,000psi regulator gets a B+.
Would have gotten an A if I didn’t have to max out the PW…
GROUP 1 for sighting in….

GROUP 2 ..65yds Can’t explain the 2 seperate holes but there are 8 shots in there between the 2….
AND! I remembered the quarter
The max powerwheel group looks great!!! 😉 Still a little spread out but they all hit pretty close to a minute of squirrel at 65 yards… If you didn’t hit him in the head you’d get the chest…

I think it is respectable….I think some of the spread is
me and some is the wind but at least the elevation on
MOST of the groups is decent…I can’t really blame
windage on the regulator….We’ll see in a few with the
JSB 15.8gr….Tank is almost full….

Here we go.
So, I sprayed the washers in the regulator with silicon.
Shot a few with PW on 12/12
Then a few with PW maxed out 13+
I think I counted 40+ shots and went from
2900psi to 2000psi so that’s not bad.
I can’t really complain about the grouping because,
there was a slight left to right wind and
I was shooting JSB 18.1gr and they are not quite
as accurate as the 15.8gr in my gun…
I didn’t want to waist anymore 15.8gr on testing…
I think with 15.8gr and a little more patients the
regulator will be ok
I will put up a real target and see how the
JSB 15.8gr groups once I refill.
Cool..I’ll give this one this one last shot and
then if it still doesn’t work I’ll schiznit can it…..I’ll give him a call
if this doesn’t work..

Did you ask about air vs co2? I always figured you were pushing HPA but I didn’t realize the whole setup is for co2! 😕
My guess is HPA would be more consistent with temperature swings…
Didn’t ask….Never had co2 in mind…Another one of my ideas that sounded good in my head but may not work in actuallity….
I don’t see why HPA would be causing it to be erratic though….
We’ll see after the sandman passes….

A Condor valve on a low pressure tank and regulator… Hmm, I guess if you have the Condor hammer and a big caliber that would be the best match…
Does CO2 flow differently than air would be the next technical question… I have no idea.
She looks great, something about the stubby tank, adds a certain amount of pittbull look! 😉
Things were about the same after lubing the hammer…
I am using HPA synopsys…
I like the tank although it is about twice as heavy as the Condor tank…
The diameter of it puts my eye in a better position…I
don’t like the absence of the WOKBUTT….
I called jdairman (John) and talked to him about the
inconsistancy and his advice for a 1st step was to
seperate the regulator and put a couple drops of
lube on the washers….That step is complete. He said if I didn’t get the results
I was looking for I could send it back…Can’t beat that I guess…
I am in the middle of refilling that enomous tank….
Should take about 5 session and a nap to get that done….

I don’t quite understand the adjustability….
Not sure which way to go with it….
Or what it does when I move it either way…
