Q:

Regulator

Is anyone using a regulator on thier bottle with positive results?….
What pressure is the regulator set at if you are using one?…
What is the advantage?
Thanks

Well after the lube it sounds like things got better…

A Condor valve on a low pressure tank and regulator… Hmm, I guess if you have the Condor hammer and a big caliber that would be the best match…

Does CO2 flow differently than air would be the next technical question… I have no idea.

She looks great, something about the stubby tank, adds a certain amount of pittbull look! 😉

Send it back and get a reg. from Air hog or check out Roald at the 850 forum.

ok i c
so if i get a foster fitting i can fill my co2 tanks with hpa
i have 4 tanks i just gathered them up
that would be sweet

You would have to have a setup like this….
The male foster fitting is on the regulator…
Oh yea!! WARNING….DO “NOT” USE A BRASS Female foster fitting unless you are only filling to 2,500psi…
It is only rated for 2,500psi operating pressure…
You need a stainless steel fitting….

It does have alot of adjustability though….
On PW2 it is shooting in the 400’s and PW 12 it is in the mid to high 900’s…
Not much I can do with that tid bit of info but…
I am stumped….

I thought the whole point of a reg was no adjustability?
shouldn’t every time you pull the trigger 2000 psi should come out, no if ands or buts…
is that the from jd the air man or someone else?

I thought the same thing….Pure consistancy….NOOOOTTTTT!
Yea it came from jdairman.

so with my co2 adapter i can fill my co2 tanks with hpa?

I fill the tank through the Foster fitting on the regulator. It won’t fill through the AF co2 adapter. The regulator is one way….It will not let air pressure through to the bottle from the co2 adapter….

so your running a regulated co2 tank?
if so what psi is in a co2 tank i have a few laying around from paintball and could use them on my condor for plinking

I think it is a co2 tank but not sure….This tank has a safe fill PSI of 3,000. The regulator is set at 2,000psi and all you need is the AirForce co2 adapter to use it. I would guess any tank would do. I am not filling the tank with co2 though..Wasn’t sure if you knew that or not…

You might want to exchange the reg. and maybe get a better one.

I am in the mind set to draw back as far as I can and throw the thing into the tall grass….

18.1 grain pellet at 1000+fps with a regulated tank…

Your Condor has some punch, damn! 😯

That’s what I thought unless I grabbed the wrong one..All 3 tins were sitting side by side…I was so frustrated at that point anything was possible but still 1000fps? What da hay?

Hopefully that reg. will settle in some, but for now it is not doing you any justice.

Yea maw..It ain’t doin what I wanted it to do….I pulled the hammer out and lubed it to no avail……Fps is still all over the place….We’ll see in the morning when the wind is calm, just how it looks on the target…
It probably wouldn’t be too bad at say 30-40 yds but, any further than that and the spread is just out of the kill zone…..
Not what I wanted to see so far…..UGLY UGLY UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully that reg. will settle in some, but for now it is not doing you any justice.
