TalonTunes Spy Pics…Angled Tank Adapter
I have been trying to produce these for years, since I first saw them on the TOG….Baz really lit the fire again….
This is the first prototype. Final product will be black anodized better gauge that will fit flush to the adapter with engraved TT logo….
When your AF rifle is shouldered with this adapter, you line of sight is just slightly above the scope rail.
Production will be finished at the end of the month…

That’s an idea….An optional regulator for shooters that feel the need and just a gauge/fill nipple for those that don’t!

Two inches long is the operative term.
Even exponentially, it doesn’t create that much pressure under normal air gunning use. I can’t see where ordinary storage, shooting, loading, bench rest activity, or filling, can put damaging flex on the frame.
Granted, if it is abused, or leveraged in a manner for which it is not designed, then flex can occur. But seriously, how many times has that happened to anyone? Accidents excepted….but that can cause damage even without the adapter.

I’m sorry about my clarity before. I wasn’t referring to the adaptor being weak, as I know Tony makes quality (not familiar with the work of Bazaar, but it looks great and substantial ) I was however concerned with frame flex. Any additional length increases fulcrum potential exponentially. That’s why breaker bars work so well. Try to remove a lug nut with a ratcket, can’t happen. Slide a chunk of pipe on the end and Wallace, the trick, she is done.
I ordered one of Baz’s adapters before Tony came out with his unit, and I can assure you that you are extremely unlikely to have a problem with frame flex.
Both adapters are very strong. If the adapter was from China, off Ebay, or poorly made, then you should worry.
However, with Baz’s, and Tony’s, you get a very strong milled piece of solid metal. There’s simply no weak point present.
The addition of two inches of solid metal is simply not long enough to create any significant amount of leverage over the OEM length. Assuming you are not going to use it for a tire jack handle!!!
I will post some pics of mine when I get the tank drained and the valve relocated. Rest assured I find NO movement, or weaknesses in the design, and they are very similar. Besides, they both thread a long ways into the tank, and the valve is the same. Solid as a rock.

Baz and Tony surely have a winner here that is extremely functional.
I was just about to buy an Etac when this post popped up. I am so glad I waited. I’ll gladly wait until these are ready and send Tony some more of my money for another excellent product. I keep adding one top quality bit at a time to my Condor and I look forward to each new addition. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s done…. Thanks Tony. 😀
