Q:

TalonTunes Spy Pics…Angled Tank Adapter

I have been trying to produce these for years, since I first saw them on the TOG….Baz really lit the fire again….

This is the first prototype. Final product will be black anodized better gauge that will fit flush to the adapter with engraved TT logo….

When your AF rifle is shouldered with this adapter, you line of sight is just slightly above the scope rail.

Production will be finished at the end of the month…
Hope you like it.
Thanks, Tony

How are you planning on timing these ?

You can’t time a tank adapter, QD, or pressure gauge! They are computer timed at the factory, and are not user adjustable. Tamper with the timing, you void the warranty, and it will never run right again.

Happened to me back in the Summer of ’63, with a Jawa/CZ 250 cc motorcycle, so I definitely know whereof I speak!

Besides, we don’t even know the TDC on that thing in order to get it to spark at the proper degree of BTDC! Sounds simple but can get really complicated.

Hopefully will be ready in 1 month. QC fill nipple on one side. Gauge on the other side.
Thanks, Tony

I know what Tony does…….He hires Santa’s elves in the off -season!! 😆 😆

He either has 50 guys working for him, or works 36 hours a day…How does all this spectacular work get done, answer phone calls, endless emails, research and development, shipping, o ring mods, and now this…WOW I’m impressed…I also want one and am not worried about that dial at all

Will add approx. 2″ to LOP and will be ready at the end of the month.
Thanks, Tony

Hi *Anthony266*,

I would like/need to get it, when do you think will be ready ?????.

THX soooooooo much!
Digi.

My valve only had about 1 1/4 thread holding it so I bought a full threaded collar. It was a bugger getting the holes just right but it improved the valve hold to the back of the frame.

how much length does it add?

Very nice Tony, but PLEAAAAASE work out the QC fitting as it will surely “seal the deal” for me for two of them!

I don’t see the black nipple and magnetic cap on their website ?

Which gauge is the better one ?

I do not see a picture of the nipple on their site…. They got some stuff there that I don’t see on their site. If you call over there, talk to a guy named Ray, he set me up.

As for it being anodized, once the bad ass looking magnetic nipple cover is on there you can’t see it anyways

FWIW, I use those magnetic nipple covers on my Ninja HPA paintball tanks. They are great, BUT you have to reglue the magnet into the aluminum or your gonna lose it. Every one that I’ve had has had the magnet unglue and I lost a couple. Whatever glue they use comes off as soon as you snap it on the foster fitting a few times, and then the cap departs as soon as you enter the field. I use a dab of JB weld and all is well.

I would have taken one, but already bought an ETaC and it lowers the cheek drop just enough. Now maybe I will still get one if you make one for the Talon P.

Tony you are a GOD! I’ve just recently got into AF rifle’s, you are definitely the go to pro for anything AF related. I’ve seen the posts from people who seem to disappear with these, I hope your not planning on it. I will take one when there done also

Please don’t rush yourself Tony, you do amazing work!

This is great, I’ll like to have one or two also. Waiting to hear some more news when it will be release:)

Sign me up Tony,I’ve been waiting for someone to step up and hit a home run with one of these! :thumb:

Here are the pictures of the same adapter from our Argentinian friend marianobanus

Maybe some ideas in these 6 images.
