TalonTunes Spy Pics…Angled Tank Adapter
I have been trying to produce these for years, since I first saw them on the TOG….Baz really lit the fire again….
This is the first prototype. Final product will be black anodized better gauge that will fit flush to the adapter with engraved TT logo….
When your AF rifle is shouldered with this adapter, you line of sight is just slightly above the scope rail.
Production will be finished at the end of the month…

baz – is that a Foster Fitting cap in the picture ? Do you make those as well ?
up till i blew my finger in half(using co2, thank god…) i played guitar for 15 years, and super glue saved my ass many a time…
I personally use super glue on most cuts. I got that trick from a glass cutter years ago.
Now you can buy the stuff for cuts in a drug store.
I do not use the gauge on my Condor ETAC and have removed it, being able to count to 30 and all.
And again the collar is easy to time on these guns.

Hi, Tony looks great hope you sell plenty. I started with the angled and smoothed off corners but found it unecessary and went for the square look. I have found if you try to drop the bottle too much that the adaptor fowls your hand on the pistol grip making it uncomfortable when shooting. I have put a fill adaptor and gauge on these but believe it or not the bottle will still unscrew with all these fittings in, so people might find the fill adaptor not needed. The only thing I can see it doing is catching on your clothing when carrying your gun. But most of the paint ball guys use them so it just might be me that thinks this way.

PS: To those who tried to remove the timing cover of a 2-stroke bike, without a 3 lb hammer and a hand held impact wrench, with a Phillips head, or had to manually find 5 to 10 degrees “Before Top Dead Center” without a fancy sparkplug hole timing device from the J. C. Whitney, or Warshoski catalog, then remember the hot summers, virgins, 265 V8 Chevies, 302 Fords, the year the 327 V8 Chevy II came out, big shade trees, and Pepsi cola in a 12oz bottle. Being a “Shade Tree Mechanic” was a privilege, never to be repeated.
You can’t time a tank adapter, QD, or pressure gauge! They are computer timed at the factory, and are not user adjustable. Tamper with the timing, you void the warranty, and it will never run right again.
Happened to me back in the Summer of ’63, with a Jawa/CZ 250 cc motorcycle, so I definitely know whereof I speak!
Besides, we don’t even know the TDC on that thing in order to get it to spark at the proper degree of BTDC! Sounds simple but can get really complicated.

I think the timing could best be approximated with a full threaded collar. It could have two lines scribed around it to indicate the approximate distance from the back end to drill set screw holes one at a time to make sure the second one will finalize a snug fit of the adapter to the rear of the frame.

Tony, that looks amazing as does all of your work. But i have a concern with the increased LOP exponentially ingreasing the stress on the frame of an already weakly designed gun. Would it be possible (ok feasable) to include a support that would screw in (after installation of your adapter) to the bottom of the adapter, and the rear of the frame (under the grip)? Kind of like a small bridge…..Dont wanna complicate things, Just food for thought!
