Q:

The NEW trigger mod. 10 minute drop in, no drilling option

Anyone see this? Get them at AOA. I’m going to give one of these bad boys a try. I have my bottle adjusted about right but the trigger pull (Heavy) was hurting my groups. Now an easy drop in answer.

I found that out. 😆 😆

I’ll get back to work on everything soon. I’d like to hunt with it this last month of squirrel season.

Michael-now that you’ve had the mod finished for a week, any misfires? Or is everything looking good?

Well I took it apart again to change some parts. I pretty sure had I left it alone The gun would be working fine, but I took the safety out to see how that would work.

LT you ever get that SuperSear installed ?

I hope to have a set of brass punches in by this weekend to do the job. Want to make sure the retaining pin looks factory new after I tap it back in.

I’m a little curious, did you drill holes in the plate to access the sear adjustment screws or do you remove the plate, adjust , replace the plate, test, then adjust some more till you have it where you like it

I held the plate in place with my hand. Wasn’t that hard. It would be easy to drill the plate though. 😀

I’m a little curious, I know you said that you could get to one of the adjustment screws through one of the holes that were already drilled in the cover plate, did you drill another hole in the plate to access the other screw or did you do what the installation instructions say and just remove the plate, adjust the screws , replace the plate and hold by hand, test, then adjust some more till you have the first and second stage where you like them?

hey, i kinda like that. 😎

Anybody remember this old mod ❓ There are some hardcore DIY’ers out there. To labor intensive for me.

As long as no monkeys real or implied were harmed or spanked in the process. 😀

I think his avatar space monkey on the minibike rode away with it… 😆

My new sear came in today. Going to buy a set of brass punches so I can tap the retaining pin out and put it back in without damaging the retaining pin.

I wonder why the snitch has a sudden interest in the world of tag

He just saw an opportunity to make a part and fill a nitch.

But he would not last here and really is not welcome. He has been banned from many airgun forums is probably the most prolific trouble maker on airgun forums.

He does not do business the way we do it around here. If someone selling here does not stand behind what he makes then he is not going to sell here.

Is this a different design of the sear beside the addition of the two adjustment screws? It is different than the drawings and pictures in the quick reference section. Notice that the lip that extends over the trigger is gone. I couldn’t figure out how the second stage worked until saw that difference

Not sure if newer sears from AF has been redesigned, the QR section are dated designs, or this is some really good new redesign work here.
