The NEW trigger mod. 10 minute drop in, no drilling option
Anyone see this? Get them at AOA. I’m going to give one of these bad boys a try. I have my bottle adjusted about right but the trigger pull (Heavy) was hurting my groups. Now an easy drop in answer.

FWIW….
I have taught my son and daughter there is NO substitution for safety. There is NO reason to carry a cocked and loaded rifle.
If you MUST have it cocked, don’t put a pellet in the breech until you have acquired your target, ALWAYS “index” your trigger finger until ready to fire.
He also threatened to sell copies of some people’s parts cheaper than them to intentionally undercut their sales… Well at least he said that when things were crumbling just prior to his assisted departure.
no, like wok said, some did it first. but he plugs stuff here regularly that shouldnt be bought just on principle, and i firmly believe that most of what he makes we got guys that do it better.
maybe if parisdOUCHE started makin them, one of our guys would finally do it just to get rid of him again. happened with angle adaptors, happened with 1 piece stems, happened with barrel run hammers…
Angle adapters came first from Baz in UK and our friends in Argentina.
1 piece stems have been around for a long time and Leupy in the UK made the barrel run hammers years ago and still does 🙂
What we need are the trigger parts made by a trustworthy person who stands behind their products.
This “No Warranty” nonsense is not how we like to do things on the TAG.
i am aware of most of these things, adam.
however, when he starts his spam campaigns, the product he plugs usually seems to be answered by a few dedicated forum members making them obsolete.
people started buyin paris hammers, doug did a run. his 1 piece units started sellin, tony made a run. he plugged angle adapters, tony put plans to work. i just figured maybe somebody id buy from would make some if he did…
i talked to drum bout this, and he suggested buyin a new group and give em the kasenite treatment. i agree. i can make a case hardened set for 20 bux less than this thing. again, opinions are like assholes…
Are you saying everything that Paris started someone here copied ❓
Guys a few years ago I had thought about building the complete trigger set and selling them. The only thing that stopped me was not the warranty part at all, I for one hate stuff that don’t work and if I sold you guys something that doesn’t work I would have to replace it or send your money back LOL…
What stopped me from making and selling these was the liability… My God you guys can’t even begin to think of the implied liability something like the trigger can be on any firearm… The three parts would have to be over a 100 bucks apiece… Doubt I would even make money at that price either…
Now on another note, this new adjustable piece looks good, just wonder how much it helps. Some of the other issues I hated though was the fact these AF rifles have no over travel stop. I made that into my trigger I made on my Condor and it was not really adjsutable. Guess you could and probably should as we all know that no two rifles are alike in every aspect…
Make things more and more adjustable just adds even more expense into the parts. The liability alone has already exceeded what the cost should be LOL… You would end up making these for free after paying for the insurance for liabiliy… There is no way to really win on this sort of thing.
I do agree though, there is no other firearm on the market I am aware of that needs a new trigger worse than the AF product LOL…

In-tank regulator.
Side cocking bolt (Edge).
Trirail with Picatinny rail.
Bottle collar with gauge and fill nipple.
Talon “Pistol”.
New butt stock attachment that doesn’t break.
All of these cost some good cash to produce, what’s a 25 cent part, right?
I see what your saying, they raised the price based on the big and likely expensive changes. I doubt they would raise the price with just a small change to the trigger. Hell, it WOULD sell more rifles that’s for sure!
Perhaps we should try:
“These are not the droids you are looking for…..”
😆 😆
I thought about it and then made a mental list…

Syn. you forgot a very important saying in the buisness world. “If it makes sence at all, do the exact oppisite.”
They prolly don’t care if this simple mod make their product better, as long as we keep buying their rifles. Some AF engineer prolly already came up with this idea and a bean counter prolly said no because of the extra .15 cents it would take to make this a standard part.
Now lets see if reverse psycology works. 😛 😆
Lurker, you may have to do a little drilling for this I think…
Michael, I actually think it’s a pretty innovative idea overall (issues with it’s creator aside), nice to see more and more mods for these rifles. I can see this mod making the rifle more appealing to some people who were on the fence. The trigger has been an issue for a some and just fine for others, this part changes that considerably.
I thought it was ok until I got a real trigger under my finger… I blame Jewell triggers for this, bastards make the best trigger on the planet.
If I had to speculate as to AF’s next new item for this platform this is it. I give them to about July this year to start making their own variant of this bar… 😉 If it were to be stamped like the other parts they could make them super cheap, then again those would probably end up bending. 😆 It appears to fix the issues without replacing all the parts.
I get the sense the AF agents are busy making a bunch of notes and furiously generating napkin sketches at this very moment. 😯
My trigger on my Talon SS sux. Bought it used. I think it’s 4-5 years old. No pre-drilled holes to easily do the other trigger mod with grubs in the frame. It has a heavy pull and no sense of when it’s going to break. Screws up my concentration and my groups when it causes me to pull the shot.
I’ll try one of these because I dig it and if it works, then great, i’ll be a happy man. If it doesn’t then I’ll hunt down my buddy that has the drill press, buy the right drill, tap, and grub screws, and do the older trigger mod.
I’m for a complete trigger group….did I hear someone say they would make one? Count me in for one.
Good luck with that. 😉
I bought it cause it works as for the rest I can’t begin to speculate as to what you’re saying or implying. 😛
Ah, I see why you bought it now.
Good luck with that. 😉

The question was raised about trigger pull.
I just checked both of my condors with a Lyman Trigger pull gauge.
Both of mine are right at 1lb 7oz. Both are TAG DIY. I made sure that first stage has a defined travel “feel” with a crisp 2nd stage.
I may get one later just to see if I like it but right now I’m going to send my SAGC (surplus air gun cash) to moneyshot for a couple of items he has for sale 😎
