The NEW trigger mod. 10 minute drop in, no drilling option
Anyone see this? Get them at AOA. I’m going to give one of these bad boys a try. I have my bottle adjusted about right but the trigger pull (Heavy) was hurting my groups. Now an easy drop in answer.

The DIY trigger mod is easy to do. The AF trigger is very light and predictable when it is done.
I know some people are leary about drilling and tapping the frame. But there really is no problem. Members on the forum have done it hundreds if not thousand times and it only takes a few minutes to do.
In fact years ago AF use to do it on their guns.
Remember the Condor and Talon should not have a trigger so sensitive it will go off if you stumble or fall. These are not match rifles and are sporters. Be safe and keep your trigger safe by not having set to light.
When the gun is cocked there is some travel in the trigger (1st stage), it compresses a spring, before it contacts the sear bar, this allows for some safety.
If the sear bar is in contact with the trigger while cocked a jolt to the gun can cause the trigger bar to move and release the sear. That is why we recommend a bit of a first stage in the trigger.
So no matter how you set up your trigger make sure it will not fire the gun when bumped or jarred.
Review the thing already… 😆
Yeah all of mine have set screws and if I need a warrantee work done on them I don’t have to get bailed out of jail first.

Mine too. DIY.
Do you guys really have problems with your triggers?
With the DIY trigger mod my trigger is very smooth, light and crisp.
Your to slow LTLurker. Beat you to the goods already.

You’re probably right about drilling holes in the trigger bar to have access to the adjustment screws. I might try trial and error method but that would get old quickly. At least I won’t be having to drill into the frame and tapping threads that I’d have to do if I was doing the other version of the trigger mod. Since I don’t have a drill press (gave it away…doh) I’ll get by using a hand drill and a vise.
I’m not sure what a true two stage trigger is but anything would be good if I could conveniently adjust the trigger. Im not sure if it matters to me how it works or what it pushes on if it works. My objective is a adjustable first stage, a nice trigger break, and tighter groups.
When I get one in, I’ll post some pictures on the construction so everyone can see. Probably will also do a post with some pictures of me hacking into the mod.
You may not have to drill the frame but you will still have to drill the cover plate to adjust those screws right? 😕
It looks like the two screws act directly on the trigger bar only. Not sure how that makes it an actual two stage trigger since your using the bar for two points of contact with the screws in the sear.
Also I wonder if some of those rough areas where the ‘slip’ occurs will be cleaned up, it looks like it’s really rough.
I’m interested to hear about how it works from those that get them…!
HarryP, SteveNC offers a great guarantee, if the part breaks he is guaranteed to get someone to snitch on you for a $100 gift certificate… 😆 🙄
Steve NC has something to do with it 😕 hope you don’t need a replacement 😆
construction looks a little shoddy to me…
They did not put them up on their website yet, I guess. You would have to call them.
Couldn’t find them on AoA, where are they at?
The Yellow post says that Airguns of Arizona is stocking them. I guess they will put it up on their website probably in the Custom parts under their Airforce Guns section but who knows.
I’m going to give AOA a call tomorrow, I guess I’ll find out what they cost. I’m going to guess $30 because that’s what all the rest of them cost for other rifles.
Any idea how much they run for?
DIY if you have the rite equipment.
