The NEW trigger mod. 10 minute drop in, no drilling option
Anyone see this? Get them at AOA. I’m going to give one of these bad boys a try. I have my bottle adjusted about right but the trigger pull (Heavy) was hurting my groups. Now an easy drop in answer.

Issues may arise if it actually bends, it’s amazing the forces involved in those little parts.
Do you have to use that monster spring or can you use the stock one?
Anyone got a trigger pull scale to measure the before and after?
It ain’t gonna bend. It’s solid. The stock parts are thinner than it. You could use the stock springs, but I bet it’s scary. I started too then backed off. No scale here.
Doesn’t matter if the stock part is thinner, it’s all about what type of steel works and what type doesn’t.
IF it bends be prepared to get blamed for bending it even if all you did was do what it would take to normally fire the rifle. I am 100% sure AF would replace the parts free of charge, not so sure these parts carry the same service agreement.
synopsys I’m about 100% sure it won’t bend to the point where if it did it probably would be my fault. It’s built well and there aren’t enough forces within the gun to bend it. It’s maybe a 1lb trigger pull. Don’t hold me to that I have no guage, but what’s one pound of pressure going to do to it? Not worried about it. It works and I like it a whole lot better than the way it was. It was kind of crappy before. Didn’t have a feel for let off. Now I’m sure where I’m at. I think I can even get it lighter. As for service, I’ve never had an ounce of trouble with the source. In fact he usually goes above and beyond. Can’t say that about others I use to do business with. Let’s just say what counts. I’m happy with it and that’s not only an understatement it’s what counts to me. 😀

What we need are the trigger parts made by a trustworthy person who stands behind their products.
This “No Warranty” nonsense is not how we like to do things on the TAG.[/quote]
Next up the WOK sear. 😆
maybe if parisdOUCHE started makin them, one of our guys would finally do it just to get rid of him again. happened with angle adaptors, happened with 1 piece stems, happened with barrel run hammers…
Angle adapters came first from Baz in UK and our friends in Argentina.
1 piece stems have been around for a long time and Leupy in the UK made the barrel run hammers years ago and still does 🙂

It almost appears to be case hardened, but probably it was just heatd and dipped in oil. So I doubt it will bend, not like that piece of shit trigger blade they aborted.

I don’t know Money, the part that counts looks like it’s been finished quite well. The sear touch point looks free of burrs, don’t see why it wouldn’t allow a crisp release.

Always thought form followed function. It fits fine unlike the slope in my old trigger. Might shim the trigger in the future. Maybe he’ll make you a pretty one if you say please. 😈
i still dont like the fit/finish.
if one of you guys would get off yer duff and make a drop in group of better steel, the possibilities would be endless…

Someone make it stop!!! 😆
Hey it survived USPS to my house and that wrench is a fragile little thing. What counts is it works. DIY is nice, but some people like other things. I like this thing.
That bent allen wrench and the shitty cut on the end of that spring are making my eyes bleed.

They are $55.00. I ordered one and if it works I will make them for all my guns. Heavier hammer springs start messing with trigger pull.
Brew it’s a really nice upgrade. Just put it in my Talon SS. I got my gun second hand. It had a trigger job on it like described in this post, but either the previous owner lost it or took it out. Interesting to note, I see my 2nd stage adjustment screw through the old DIY hole. Adam’s right the whole assembly does move around especially when taking the safety off. I adjusted the stages properly and now can take the safety off slap the gun around a bit and bounce it on it’s WokButt and no accidental discharge. Sounds kind of dirty 😯 , but hey safe so far. Took me longer than 10 minutes, but I’m a slow learner. 😆

Be sure to do a “Bump” test after you install it or make any changes to the trigger mechanism.

No kidding, offering cash for ratting on someone to get out of replacing a defective part is definitely ‘above and beyond’…
If it bends it’s not your fault (i’ve pulled against the safety a few times and never bent the stock item), but since you already think it is, it will be. 😉
