Why would i want to have an air bottle attached to my hip ?
I only keep a small Whiskey keg hanging there on an occasion.
And the cal switching option is nothing for me either.
As said – just my humble opinion.

All it adds is a affordable CZ barreled caliber-switching BP with the ability to have the air bottle on your hip or backpack. 😉
My thoughts exactly. Priest, Bishop, Vicar or Preacher – i can´t see that gun to be able to offer anything not already found on the ever growing family of BP´s.
Just my opinion in this matter. :fishinghole:
Well, it’s an exiting gun!
This seems to be one of the very few guns that has a thread made even before it comes out into the hands of owners.
R&L said that if you get it in .25 it should come with the 150bar bottle. I will have to call and see if I can confirm that on Monday. From the looks of the website, I don’t see anything that even mentions a 150bar bottle. I will post up the word later.
Did you get the .25 with reg set at 150 bar?
Well I know I don’t need any more reviews, I’ve pre-ordered and it’s going to be what it’s going to be. I’m a big boy now, it could be the greatest BP ever or it could suck pond water! :ugeekn:
Somebody else’s opinion is just that somebody else’s opinion
I have 20mm mounts so I don’t foresee a 2″ OD getting in the field of view. If so, and I am no optics expert but I know a thing or 2 about physics, I would imagine as the magnification increased that the fat boy would eventually leave the picture. Anybody care to chime in on that?
I saw that too Cricket and that did cross my mind. Wondering if fatty will get in the way of the lens. But will depend on what scope he plans to use and scope rings. If it’s too big, we’ll swap out for the 1.5 OD LDCs.

Not sure but I think this might be a 56mm objective, it also has VERY low mounts.

New thread for sure! My only concern is If a scope with 50mm objective will work with a fat boy on the Priest. The scope rail seems a bit low.

I put in that request to Donny. I will have to give updates on how well the fatboy works on the Priest. I am a noob to the forum but as soon as I can get my hands on the rifle I will try to field some questions and concerns about the rifle first hand. I plan to run the Priest in .25 with JSB Kings with an Athlon Argos BTR 6-24×50 scope. Not too sure if I am going to use a bipod or anything. BPs for me really seem to be meant for shooting off hand and I intend to use it that way mostly but accuracy testing will be done with bags at the very least. If we need to start a new thread with first hand experience I’d love to give my comments about the rifle or I can just do it here. I know some forums aren’t fond of many threads on the same subject.
If you got questions I will start a list and do my best.
Funny you said that, I got a LDC request for a .25 priest today. I recommended fat boy we’ll see how that goes. It has a M14x1 thread on it.
You might want to put a Donny LDC on it, seems like a loud gun. But really looking forward to what people have to say about it once it’s in owners hands!

I don’t know of another platform that makes having a remote bottle easy to do. It could be a total bust but for me personally, I doubt it. I am excited about trying it out with the bottle fixed elsewhere. As for the caliber switching. Sure it may not be much but I am very excited about the arrow barrel. Especially if it can give 3″ groups at 50 yards with at least 370 fps from standard arrows. Having that capability is huge. Not to mention this rifle is priced very well. Most importantly, because this will change everything about the way the rifle is put into action, it has the lowest bore axis of any gun I have seen.
I don’t understand why all the complaints and the nay-sayers that focus on what this gun won’t do or that it is a “copy”. I will be posting about what it can do. I am quite excited about very low profile of this gun.
